I love the cars, but won’t ever purchase them again because of repeated terrible experiences with omeara service department. i have a 3.5 year old alltrack with 72100 miles. i purchased the extended wa because of repeated terrible experiences with omeara service department. i have a 3.5 year old alltrack with 72100 miles. i purchased the extended warranty when it was new. A/c system went out 12 miles after factory warranty was up and nothing was covered. i was without my car for three total days and had to rent one for over $350. All they managed to do in that time was diagnose it and talk to extended warranty inspector, who didn’t approve anything because tech said “he didn’t have the time” to demonstrate the failure. And, they didn’t bother to take photos or videos of the issue when they first diagnosed it because “we never have to do that,” according to Larry the service manager. He refused to get the inspector what he needed to facilitate approval unless someone paid him another $159 to repeat the diagnostic. i told him i wasn’t paying for the first one and went to local repair shop. glad i did, since volkswagen said the parts could take a year to arrive, the local shop is getting them in hand within the next week and will complete the repair for $400 less. and, they’re willing to work with the extended warranty company. I needed my windshield repaired under the warranty we pay for. I called, and VINCENT was so helpful.
