The showroom was immaculate and very impressive! Each time I went in, he was there to greet me, he even came outside in the awful weather and after the purchase he took time to explain all of the cars features and went through them one by one. I would highly recommend Junior Hammond and the Mazda dealership in Fort Wayne to anyone I knew was interest in buying a new vehicle. I have no complaints and couldn't ask for a better experience! Eric Smith was a great salesperson from the beginning to the end of our experience - I have only the very best things to say about how he handled the whole experience with us!! I would choose to buy another car from him enthusiastically. I have been wanting to call the manager about my one major concern about the experience. I do not understand why we were not presented with the various warranty options before we closed the deal with the financial manager the day we purchased the car. So much information was presented to us so quickly, and we were told we must choose right then as we were filing for our loan with the bank; we couldn't wait until we had time to research and think through this hurried, important decision! This is not how I (or possibly many people) make decisions. I spent hours researching/comparing SUV's and station wagons from all manufacturers, as well as looking closely at our budget to see which car we could afford - I chose the Mazda dealership and the Mazda 5 vehicle based on that careful research, what monthly payment we could afford, and also the past experiences we have had buying 4 previous Mazdas from your dealership. The warranty experience has made me reconsider whether or not I want to purchase my next vehicle from your dealership. Because we were not given the extended warranty options before the closing, I am still very uncomfortable and unsatisfied as to whether or not we made the right decision buying the warranty we did under the circumstances and increasing our monthly payments $40 per month which was not in our budget. Excellent service by Junior Hammond. He and all the staff stayed late to complete the deal and to make sure everything was taken care of. Junior doesn't just go for the deal either, he takes the time to talk and get to know you. When I took my car back the next day, he actually sat with me while I waited and just conversed. Definitely a people oriented business. When I first started shopping, I put my email in for price changes on the car. I not only got emailed by Junior, but also two of the manager, and the service manager; all making themselves available for any questions I have and detailing the services they offer. The day after my purchase, a manager emailed thinking me for my business. I would definitely recommend this dealer and Junior for buying your next car. More
