I purchased my used Mazda6 from another dealership, who knew nothing about Mazda products. I came to this dealership with a rattle under the car and a broken center console latch. Brandon went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered,then set me up with Aaron who went over the set up and use of my bluetooth. This was extremely helpful as I did not receive an owner's manual. This has been one of the best experiences I have had with a service department, and look forward to a long future with them. Aaron was by far the most knowledgeable sales rep I've ever dealt with. I called him up on a Mazda CX-9. We agreed on the price and I showed up on the lot. Everything went smooth and even though I had my mind made up on a CX-9 prior to meeting Aaron he blew me away with how much he knew about every aspect of the vehicle. Most sales people seem to regurgitate the features back to you. Aaron knows every feature on the car, how it operates, why Mazda uses it, etc. This is the guy to see if you ever want a new vehicle. I purchased a new CX9 at the end of July. The first day I had it home I noticed a major flaw in the paint on one door. I contacted Keith Thomas immediately to report it. I brought the car in the next week to have inspected. I was told that a factory rep would have to inspect and they would call to arrange. Couple weeks went by with no call. I called again and was assured that the rep would be in town soon and they would call. A couple more weeks went by and again no call. I called again and was told to bring the car in the following Friday when the rep is there. I showed up, no rep. Jonathan Hardman spoke to the rep on the phone as I waited. Rep promised to be there the following week and they would call to schedule. Three weeks later, no call. I once again called and was told that they did not know when the rep will be there but would call me. I highly doubt this. This is unbelievable in today's economic environment when a premium is placed on customer service. My purchasing experience was great and we really enjoy the car. It's a shame that this has ruined all that goodwill. Update as of 12/8/12. One brief call from Keith Thomas just shortly after my initial review. Was told that this would be resolved soon. Three weeks later and no calls or action. Amazing. More
I bought my Mazda Tribute from CarMax just up the street from Mazda of Roswell. I purchased an extended warranty on it at the same time. Two months later I brought my vehicle back to CarMax with a problem. After they looked at it, they couldn't determine the cause of the problem so they referred me to this Mazda dealership. Working with Jonathan & Brandon was a true pleasure. They took care of me and my car as if I had bought my car there and like we were old friends. They quickly determined the cause of the problem (a problem with the gear shift)with my car. They also found 2 small oil leaks and determined that my gas mileage would increase with a new fuel filter. And since all of this was determined to should have been discovered prior to my purchasing the vehicle from CarMax, Jonathan got on the phone and had CarMax pick up all the charges that the warrenty didn't cover. Since they would need to keep the car overnight, they put me in a rental ... also picked up by CarMax. And when I came back to pick my car up, the mechanic (I forget his name) was waiting for me to answer any questions I might have for him and to tell me that I had purchased a very good car. They all have made me a believer in their commitment to their work. I only wish I lived closer to them so that I could use them for all my service. But that 80-mile round trip is a bit much for an oil change! More
The reason I initially chose Aaron and Mazda of Roswell over other dealers I looked into, is that he gave me a much better price right off the bat. Other dealers then said that they would match his price, over other dealers I looked into, is that he gave me a much better price right off the bat. Other dealers then said that they would match his price, but I figured I should go with the guy who didn't try to get the most money out of me from the beginning. He gave me a great price. Aaron was always very friendly in our communication, but not overly pushy like some dealers can be. He was always accommodating of requests, and got me the exact car that I wanted (a 6-speed, manual transmission CX-5 in Metropolitan Gray) even though they didn't have it on the lot. When I came in to purchase the vehicle, he was very thorough in explaining all the details of the car to me and making sure that I was comfortable with its functions. He is very knowledgeable. He provided me with clear information, tips, and further resources. I would recommend Aaron and Mazda of Roswell to other buyers. The entire crew there is very friendly. And I love the car! More
