I stopped into Open Road BMW in an emergency, I would like to say that this is the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I stopped into Open Road BMW in an emergency, where I was greeted by the most respectful young men who were attending to customers in the service drive. It was at this point that my great experience started. After greeting me and my wife, they proceeded to check my vehicle in and showed me to their cafe where we had bagels, muffins, pastries and coffee. A couple of minutes later, we were introduced to the Service Advisor who was going to take care of our car. From the moment I met Frank Ghusson, I felt like I was in great hands. Mr. Ghusson was a true professional. He was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. After, Mr. Ghusson reviewed my concerns and finished all the required paperwork, He put me in a loaner vehicle untill the repairs on my vehicle were completed. The next day when my car was fixed, he called me and explained to me all the repairs that were performed on my vehicle. When I arrived at Open Road BMW, I was very pleased to find that not only did they fix my car, but they also cleaned it inside and out. I love this dealership. I will never drive anything but a BMW and it has to be from OPEN ROAD BMW. Thank you guys, and thank you Frank. YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!! More
I was at the dealership after making an appointment with the sales guy and after reaching there and talking to him, he kept me waiting saying that the car is being brought out for test drive and then he com the sales guy and after reaching there and talking to him, he kept me waiting saying that the car is being brought out for test drive and then he comes back and says, he cant find the car and then again later he comes back and says the car has been driven to one of there other locations just a few minutes ago and that I will have to come back again. Guys just stay away from this dealer its just not worht going there awasting your time, I am already an unfortunate customer of this dealer as I had brought a vehicle from them couple of years ago and still does not matter, so dont expect anything usual or great from them anytime. More
I was at the dealership for a flat tire and of did not have an appointment, first of all every one at the dealership behaves as though they are doing you a favour by attending your service needs on your c have an appointment, first of all every one at the dealership behaves as though they are doing you a favour by attending your service needs on your car, they could not arrange a loaner as I failed to predict the timing of my FLAT TIRE and could not make an appoint for it in advance and I ended up waiting somewhere around 4 hours just to get a FLAT tire fixed and some regular service done, on talking to the service associate (which was only after I kept looking for him and kept walking to his desk after every hour or so as no one from the dealer was bothered as to why me and my wife have been waiting in the lobby for so long) I cam to know they needed an approval from me to change my tire WHAT!, that the whole reason why I was there. I could go on and on, just to end it, its not a free or worry free maintenance, its more an hassle than a convinence, i think its better to buy a non luxury car for half the price and be free to get your maintenance and tire changes any where you like without paying upfront and add to your car cost and then end up going through a lot more by waiting and paying premium. We all pay more to be more worry free and to be treated better, not sure if any of these are happening. P.S. I was given an additional discount for the delay in service to make me feel better. More
The approach was so pushy and aggressive, I felt as if I had entered a highway Hyundai dealership. I purchased a preowned 545. The day I purchased the car I heard a very, very slight noise which appeared to be coming from the engine and questioned the salesman. He claimed the car was certified and in p I heard a very, very slight noise which appeared to be coming from the engine and questioned the salesman. He claimed the car was certified and in perfect condition and he insisted that he would "never lie to me during the muslim holiday Ramadan". I did verify the service history on the car andI trusted him and the manager, Alex, and proceeded to purchase the car and drive it back to Maryland. A day later, I called them and complained about the engine noise again, and they told me to take the car to any BMW facility to have it checked out. I have owned the car for 14 months, and the car has spent 5-6 of those months at the BMW Service Center in Annapolis, MD. It has had 2 new engines, a new transmission, catalitic converter, exhaust manifold, flywheel, vacuum pump, etc. etc. After all of this, the car remains unrepaired. I wrote a letter and called the dealership and they will do NOTHING to help me. I have made EVERY possible attempt to give them the opportunity to help me out. No one will fix the car. People, this dealership certified a car that was a lemon with an obvious problem. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. It appears they do not care about what their reputation. As far as that $3K you pay for the CPO Warranty, don't waste your money. I truly believe the public should be made aware of their practices. In closing I want to say that until now, I absolutely LOVED BMW. I have owned 2 others with no problem. I am so disappointed that BMW does not care about their loyal customers. They have left me no choice but to tell everyone about their lack of integrity in the way they deal with their customers. I guess I will no longer be loyal to the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE. More
My experience with Open Road BMW of Edison and Nitin Kalamdani (Sales) and Dean Palumbo (General Sales Manager) on Sat, Jan 23rd was excellent. I leased my first car with Open Road two years prior Kalamdani (Sales) and Dean Palumbo (General Sales Manager) on Sat, Jan 23rd was excellent. I leased my first car with Open Road two years prior and it was also quite a pleasant experience. On January 23rd, I went back to Open Road, after visiting Volvo, BMW of Princeton and several other dealerships. At BMW Princeton, I was ignored, my time was wasted, and I was not taken seriously. At Volvo, there was no follow up, and again - I felt my time was wasted. I loved my time with Open Road because first, my sales rep Nitin followed up with me via phone several times which I appreciated to confirm our appt. Then he was excellent in listening to exactly what I wanted. He didn't push features, cars, colors or anything else that wouldn’t contribute to exactly what I needed. I had no interest in spending any time at BMW that I didn't need to spend. Nitin was busy, but took care of selling me my car as quickly as possible (which was my objective) and also understood that once I purchased my car I wanted to get out of there ASAP! :) Dean Palumbo, who is the General Sales Manager at Open Road was excellent, friendly, and made my whole experience pretty amazing. I noticed prior to meeting Dean, he extended the same courtesy, professionalism, and patience with a client that was there earlier. Dean went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy not only with his sales team, with the car, but also to the last minute during the finance piece. He has continued to follow up with me, and this type of service is priceless. BMW spends millions of dollars in advertizing their cars, and the excellence they represent, and it’s a shame when customers have poor or mediocre experiences at dealerships. Luckily, I felt I worked with two excellent managers, and not only did they represent BWM well, but took their time and effort to make sure that I was happy and satisfied. I am looking forward to going back to BWM when I need another car, and would be more than happy to recommend both Dean and Nitin to anyone interested in an exceptional car buying experience. More

My 2 BMWs have always been kept in the best condition. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. I enjoy my BMW every time I look at it and every time I start the motor and drive it. Was leaving for a trip and wanted to tae delivery of the car the same day. everyone bent over backwards to the best purchasing experience i have had.
