Dear Customer: We are sorry to hear that your experience with our service department has fallen short of your expectations. It is unfortunate that the nature of your repair was not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, due to an impact your vehicle had sustained prior to your visit. That impact, notated by our staff, caused a malfunction with the ABS braking system, which also influences proper function of the parking brake system. It was Mazda USA, in fact, not our dealership, that rejected the repair under warranty; again, due to an impact. It was at that time, in an effort to ensure your satisfaction, that the dealership volunteered to cover the cost. We understand that you did not buy the car from an authorized Mazda dealership and that you do not service with us, but we are hopeful that after further consideration of our efforts to earn your trust, that you will consider us in the future. David, I'm so sorry that you feel your wife has had a one star experience with her 2021 CX5. We never want our guests to feel frustrated with their time spent with us and we take our reviews very seriously. To that end, I took the liberty to look at the service history of your wife's car. Overwhelmingly, her appointments were for routine maintenance (ie oil changes). I did find both a forward camera that was replaced for FREE under warranty and a paint concern that was remedied for FREE under warranty. In 8/2021 she did complain about her center console screen, the problem could not be replicated at that time or ANYTIME THEREAFTER. The screen was not replaced, but would have been covered for FREE under warranty if a problem was found within the first 3yrs or 36,000 miles. Although your wife's CX5 is currently about 10,000 miles outside of her warranty, my service team discounted yesterday's fee by 50% because she is valued customer. With that said, you declined to move forward with the repair. My team and I are usually willing to assist our loyal customers who have been with us for many years and generally have very good relationships with them. It saddens me that years of good will, and work that did not cost you anything, are soured by one repair that is not covered under your wife's warranty. Paul Seetoo (General Manager).

Most feedback references her cheery and friendly demeanor and making the sales process fun and enjoyable. I'm sorry that you may have misinterpreted her bubbly personality as being demeaning. As a team, we do love our jobs and like making the sales process fun for our customers.... but NEVER have fun at the expense of our guests.
