We were there for a factory recall of air bags on our Toyota and had been told that the repairs would take from a half to a whole day to do. Our service rep, told us that because we lived over 100 miles away, they would get us out as quickly as possible because of our long trip home. We were given a courtesy shuttle ride to the University Mall where we figured we would enjoy some window shopping while waiting. We had time to find some piano music and a snack and were delighted when we received a call two hours later that our car work was finished. They sent the shuttle to pick us up and within 15-20 minutes were driving away from the Brent Brown dealership. Everyone we talked to or who helped us were professional, but were very kind and caring. We had a very exceptional experience! More

Started great but ended poorly We enjoyed working with Kern and found him warm and helpful. The actual process of finding a car, test driving, and then negotiating a price was as go We enjoyed working with Kern and found him warm and helpful. The actual process of finding a car, test driving, and then negotiating a price was as good or better than any other I've had. But it went downhill rapidly from there. First, we had to wait 15-20 minutes for a "finance" person to then meet with us. Too long. Then he turned out not to be a "finance" guy at all but another salesman who did the hard sell on us concerning 5-6 "add-on". My fist though was, "Wait a minutes, I came to Toyota because they are possibly the highest quality autos in the the world and now this guy is telling me all the things that aren't on it that are important to make it what I'd really want (undercoating, scotchgard, etc., etc., etc.) Why doesn't Toyota add them if they are so important instead of trying to pressue me to add $1-2 K more to the "final" price I just negotiated?" Then once we told him no we go the real finance guy AND THEN HE TRIES TO SELL US MORE!! Really?? Warranties or whatever. It was also a bit of a hardsell--like we were crazy if we didn't buy it. I really did not appreciate those last two guys. It made a good experience end up with a bad taste in my mouth. Kern had kept in touch and helped me set up the apps and stuff, so I'm still feeling good about that. But I will warn others to watch out for the hard sell at the end. Here is what I suggest. While we sit there and wait for 15 minutes let us watch on a tablet a non-threatening, informative short video on the 5-6 add-ons and the warranty. Then when we go into the finance guy he can ask if we have questions and what we'd like to add. We will be forewarned and will have talked about it privately as a couple rather than to have to make a decision with the "finance" guy hovering over us, and therefore feel comfortable about the decision we made. More
