I scheduled an appointment before hand and it still took them 2 hours to finish my oil change. No one came to talk to us until 1.5 hours in to waiting. new oilpan, but no oil This is a sales and service story. I'm a 28-year customer of Brent Brown Toyota and have always gotten 5-star sales and service from them. This time, This is a sales and service story. I'm a 28-year customer of Brent Brown Toyota and have always gotten 5-star sales and service from them. This time, however, having just bought a used 2008 Tacoma from them 2 months before, I came in with a severe oil leak--it was a rust-corroded oilpan that took $1242 to replace. I think the dealer should have noticed that in the pre-sale certified inspection, but they don't agree. Anyway, I believe that the oilpan was replaced competently, and Moe Afu is always great to work with. But as I drove away, I noticed the oil light was still on, but figured they just forgot to switch the alert off. I checked the oil in the morning, however, and found that there was no oil in the engine. The engine isn't leaking, but they forgot to replace the oil. I drove home with a dry engine! The whole experience has left me pretty steamed. Oh, and when I drove the newo (to me) truck away 2 months ago--1 gallon of gas in the tank. What's happened to Brent Brown Toyota! More
