Disappointment I visited the dealership about 30 days. I was browsing and unsure of what to get - Highlander, Avalon or Camry. I visited other dealerships and beca I visited the dealership about 30 days. I was browsing and unsure of what to get - Highlander, Avalon or Camry. I visited other dealerships and became frustrated at my inability to get what I wanted - a 2016 Avalon with Cosmic Gray Exterior and Almond Interior. I had test driven it and liked it very much. However, it was a hybrid, which I was not interested in. I emailed to three other Toyota for those specific colors/model. Janet Nelson from Toyota/Tinley Park responded with a price quote and began researching color availability. She indicated the combination did not exist. I went back on 04/28/2016 and was taken care by Brittany. Nice personality. She did some research hoping to find it with another dealer by engaging in a trade. No luck. She said the only Avalon XLE came in Cosmic Gray with black interior. I decided to proceed with this one. I referenced the email from Janet. She took it to the Manager and they agreed. To make a long story short, the agreed upon sales price, financing and other fees signed by me were not reflected in the Buyer's Order. Fees were jacked up, including dealer installed options - 39.95, Taxes were added twice. etc. I contacted my attorney and submitted a complaint with the State's Attorney Office upon reviewing the paperwork. They had me sign electronically and showed me a different document than the one I was asked to read before signing. My advice - Read and reread everything. Ask for copies of each document you sign. Inspect the documents before they are placed in an envelope. Do not trust anyone. More
