After a series of unfortunate events that left us with a dead battery and an inoperable hood, I spent over 6 hours waiting for a tow truck to take my wife’s car to the dealership. Once the vehicle arrived, dead battery and an inoperable hood, I spent over 6 hours waiting for a tow truck to take my wife’s car to the dealership. Once the vehicle arrived, I was later contacted by Hector and informed that the car was ready—but the battery had not been replaced. I explained that I was over 4 hours from home and did not feel safe driving the vehicle in that condition, and I asked if he could escalate the situation to Volkswagen for an exception. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing that could be done because the battery had “passed all tests.” Reluctantly, I picked up the car, but almost immediately upon leaving the dealership, I began experiencing multiple issues. First, a cornering light fault appeared. A few miles later, the system showed an incorrect time zone, and by the time I reached my hotel, the onboard SOS emergency system had also failed. Given the circumstances, I am extremely disappointed that the dealership was unwilling or unable to take additional steps to ensure the safety and reliability of the vehicle—especially considering I was traveling with my family and far from home. I've been working with Mike for a while now and I really appreciate how he speaks with me. As a woman, it can be intimidating to do anything for your car due to stereotypes but Mike has never made me feel i appreciate how he speaks with me. As a woman, it can be intimidating to do anything for your car due to stereotypes but Mike has never made me feel ignored or belittled. He makes sure I'm informed and that I understand while still being sure to listen to me as well. I'm not shy about asking questions either and Mike always listens and never makes me feel rushed or ignorant. As for the dealership in general, I've always felt welcomed. Everyone I've spoken with has been kind and helpful. More
