Just had my car in for routine oil change, etc. The cover under the engine compartment wasn’t put back on properly. One front screws literally fell out on my way back home. The second fell out when I checked under the engine compartment wasn’t put back on properly. One front screws literally fell out on my way back home. The second fell out when I checked to see when I got home, leaving the cover laying on my driveway. The two back screws were so loose that they were removed by the AA truck driver with his bare hand. This was an accident waiting to happen. If I had driven it much longer without knowing the entire cover would have hit the ground, possibly coming into the engine compartment, with the potential of hampering my driving enough to cause a serious accident.. This is a poor, unacceptable, dangerous level of incompetence in the service department. More
I will try to keep this short, but I will start by saying that looks can be deceiving regarding the vehicle and the owner of Oracle, Patrice. First, the used 2014 F-150 Ecoboost I purchased in December looke that looks can be deceiving regarding the vehicle and the owner of Oracle, Patrice. First, the used 2014 F-150 Ecoboost I purchased in December looked very clean and well taken care of but after a few weeks my problems began. When I purchased the truck, Patrice (the owner) was the one doing my paperwork and when I purchased the extended warranty, she asked me "if something goes wrong within the first 30 days like the a/c goes out, I ask that you wait till after the 30 days to take it in for repairs otherwise the warranty company will look at things more harshly". That should've been a red flag, 3 weeks after purchase, the truck began slamming in to gear and would shake when accelerating on the freeway, I waited the 30 days and scheduled an appt with another dealership and after two visits to them, I paid $700 to replace coils and plugs because of antiseize all over them, the problem still wasn't fixed. I called Oracle and talk to Patrice directly and she became very ugly with me fast. She told me that I was accusing her of warranty fraud and that she "may or may not have" said for me to wait the 30 days to use the warranty. I talked to someone else who I sent pictures of the plugs and coils to, and he said that if the service guy who did the inspection was still at the dealership he would be in big trouble. I was put in touch with Terry and he was very awesome to me, but I let Oracle take the truck another two times and an intake hose to the turbo and a torque converter later, the truck is still not fixed. In 2.5 months of owning the truck, it spent 3.5 weeks in the shop over 4 visits, I am still having issues with the truck slamming in to gear and overheating. I was basically told drive the truck till it breaks and then get it fixed. The unprofessional manner that I was treated by Patrice and the quality of this truck, I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. This is only a very short part of the story, but I tried to make it short. I either have to lose time and money repeatedly to get the truck fixed, or I have to lose the money I put down and put more to buy another truck, which will never be with Oracle Ford again as long as Patrice is the owner. I know I am only one person w/ an opinion that might not matter much, but hopefully others will be more cautious than me. More
