I recently bought a Jeep Cherokee from Ourisman of Alexandria, and I have had a terrible experience with their service department. Not long after purchasing the vehicle, I began to notice a crunchy vi Alexandria, and I have had a terrible experience with their service department. Not long after purchasing the vehicle, I began to notice a crunchy vibration in the pedal and the feeling that something was breaking while driving. Despite bringing the car in for service three times during the 90-day warranty period, the issues were not resolved. The service advisor, Mr. White, failed to address the problems on three different occasions, claiming that they couldn't find anything wrong or that nothing was loose. When I brought the car in for the same issues again, this time with Mr. Mena, I was informed that there would be a $215 diagnostic test for each problem unless they coincided. To my dismay, I was hit with a quote of $2600 for the necessary repairs, with the explanation that Chrysler wouldn't cover the costs because they couldn't identify the problems during my previous visits. I feel like I was deceived into purchasing a vehicle that required major repairs and that the dealership avoided addressing the issues until the warranty had expired. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience, and I cannot in good conscience recommend Ourisman Chrysler Jeep of Alexandria to anyone for either a purchase or service. I feel betrayed and incredibly disappointed by this whole ordeal. More

My appointment was at 7 am and I did not leave until 4:30. It took all day for them to change my battery and repair the converter for voltage 1 & 2. Then about 12:15 I receive an email stating I needed to approve repairs when I told them twice at this point that I was inside the waiting room. The list of needed repairs was BS and outrageously expensive. I know I needed brakes and rotors for the front tires I had already stated that when I made the appointment. Both brake lights were not out only 1 and I replaced that for $6 not the suggested $80. I just bought 4 new tires in March so me needing 2 new back tires is a complete lie, I have 2WD so my front tires are the ones to go bad first. I need a new front driver side tire but that was never suggested! I replaced my wiper blades in the spring with Rainx blades so a needed replacement was also a lie. To have me waiting that long and then try to scam me is ridiculous, unprofessional and alarming More
Every time I’ve had to go to this dealership it has been worse than the time before; after five times leaving my vehicle all day/overnight the swat bar is still not fixed. On or about October 29, 2021, I experienced BAD service with Ourisman Jeep's service department. Because I did not received the USUAL text for my customer review, I posted a Google Review. On the post, Ourisman replied that Chris Morrison would contact me. Instead I got a text from Mike Kentes, I explained my situation and he offered me a free FULL CAR DETAIL the next time I came in for service. He even sent me the screenshot of him placing it in the system. I assumed that the offering was because of what I experienced. About an hour later, he messaged me and asked that I take the post down. When I explained my reluctancy, he then went on to say "what would be the incentive for" him doing this. AS A CUSTOMER, The incentive would be to KEEP A REPEATED SALES AND SERVICE CUSTOMER coming back; to keep me happy; to provides some comfort in the dysfunction I last experienced. I purchased my first car from here in 2002, my second in 2018 and my third in 2020. All here at this location. I referred my brother here who purchased and uses service in 2018 as well. Needless to say, I came in today 12-8-2021, to get regular service and my car detailed and my service provider was told by MIKE that he is no longer interested in offering me this service because the google post has been up toooo long. WOW !!!! I drive 30 minutes to from Maryland, with an expectation and this is what Ourisman did to me. YET ANOTHER BAD SERVICE EXPERIENCE AND THIS TIME FROM A MANAGER. I have ALLLLL of the screenshots of the initial conversation with Mike. I posted on Twitter and Facebook today about this. Also on my other Google account, Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and now I am here because it’s AWFUL for a Manager To Behave this way. More
I been their customer since 2014 and the service department is horrible the people at the desk they are nice but the repaire people don't know anything they damage my car several times and charging department is horrible the people at the desk they are nice but the repaire people don't know anything they damage my car several times and charging me twice of the market price for parts and labor , I have a warranty service what ever they can get from warranty they will and the difference for the same thing that warrantry covers they charge me of the invoice , I was their last week i drove my car less than 5 miles since last weel monday and today less than a week my car start smoking when ii took the car to the dealer again they list 2300 on the bill it was less than a week that the car was there and once in the sudden less than a week the hoses get bad the coolant cab gets bad the water pump get bad the belt gets bad and i have to pay 2 deductible because the service guys didn't notice the issues from the begining they are not professional for repair for oil change or small services is ok after chargining you crazy even they dont bother to car wash your car either not inside or out side ,this is the last time i'm going there the manager even dosen't know anything and they are not there most of the times LAST TIME NEVER GO BACK. Have been going to this Jeep dealer for sales, service and their body shop and will go out of my way to recommend them. They have my business for sure and more than happy to put my name on them when refe and their body shop and will go out of my way to recommend them. As much as I dislike having to go to any dealership for anything, this last trip was the worst. So I took my Jeep into the Ourisman CJD of Alexandria for service. First off, they do not offer a loaner car anything, this last trip was the worst. So I took my Jeep into the Ourisman CJD of Alexandria for service. First off, they do not offer a loaner car or have rental car services. They do have a courtesy ride service, but only within what I'm guessing is a 5 mile radius as it cost me $30.00 one way, 6.2 miles to get home and the same to return once my car was ready. Then, the service technician said that they would conduct a courtesy inspection which would include fluid check and top off and tire pressure check and inflate if needed. Neither of which happened as all 4 tires displayed a different psi for each tire and fluids were not stopped off. After watching my car sit in the service exit line for 15+ minutes, I finally asked a guy if it was ready to which he replied "yup, it's been ready". As far the worked performed, from what I could see it appears they simply spliced the wires and taped them back together with electrical tape, not installed new wiring harness and connector as I was initially told they would. I am greatly disappointed and upset with them as should Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge should be for having their name associated with this dealership and their lack of quality service! More
Sales is great. Service Department is mortifying. In 2018 I attempted to use the service department when I purchased my Renegade. I transferred to Tysons.
