Great Car Buying Experience I came into Shockley Honda in search of a very specific make and model (2015 Honda Accord EX-L) and after doing quite a bit of research on what a fair I came into Shockley Honda in search of a very specific make and model (2015 Honda Accord EX-L) and after doing quite a bit of research on what a fair price; decided to give this dealership a try. My previous car was a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with about 87,000 hard-earned miles on it; so my trade-in value was also a big factor into moving forward with purchasing a new vehichle. Chapin was the car salesman that I was directed to upon arrival and of course I was expecting the usual dog and pony show / sales pitch - but was surprised about how open and honest he was throughout the whole process. After a brief discussion about what I was looking for; we took a test drive of a 2015 Accord with my specific trim and color request and I fell in love instantly. After the test drive Chapin did not sugar-coat anything and got right down to the brass tacks on not only what I could get in for my trade-in value (which was very fair) but also an extremely reasonable price right out of the gate. No haggling, no run-around; just a straight shot. I can't tell you how much I appreciated no pressure approach; even to the point of Chapin suggesting I sleep on it for the night before moving forward. Needless to say I pulled the trigger and am very glad that I did. A few months down the line I have no regrets and can honestly say that this was the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. My last two attempts to purchase new vehicles from Shockley didn't go as well as I had hoped, so I bought elsewhere. However, today I gave Shockley the opportunity to redeem themselves to sell me a new car. Both the salesman that I worked with (Dante Velasquez) as well as the Sales Manager (Jesse Torreyson) were excellent and they both wanted to ensure that I did not have a bad experience as I did in the past. They both worked very well with me and gave me the deal that I wanted and couldn't refuse. So, instead of doing my usual routine of shopping around via Edmunds.com, I knew that I was getting a fantastic deal and bought my new car right then and there. I was glad to see Shockley was finally willing to make a long term service customer happy. More

He showed me a selection of cars that I was interested in and helped me find the right one for me and my son. I was very happy with how they worked with me so that I could qualify for a loan to get the car I wanted. Everyone there was very personable and nice. I also liked how they had a little play area for my son while I test drove the car and signed paperwork.
