I was looking for a 2007 Si sedan and all of the other dealerships in northern VA were asking for at least several hundred over MSRP and in some cases up to $2k over. On a whim I sent an email to Honda of Tysons Corner and they responded that they had three Si sedans. I got a quote over the phone for $500 over invoice. A few minutes after getting off the phone, the dealer called me back and let me know that the car I was looking for had the summer tires (+$200) but I decided to make the drive anyway and check it out. I met Gregg and he took me directly to the car in question and we took it for a test drive and started the paperwork. In addition to the summer tires, it had wheel locks and mud flaps. He wrote up all of the paperwork for $500 over invoice on the non-summer tire model. He never tried to change the price or dupe me. I never talked to the sales manager. The business office never tried to get me to pay for an extended warranty or paint protection. It was a car buying dream. Gregg went over ever single feature of the vehicle with me. He explained where to find information in the owners manual and other supporting documentation. In the end, it was the most pleasant car buying experience I'd ever had - no sales pitch, no bait-and-switch, no pressure - and I got an Si sedan for $20,682 while other dealers were asking a minimum of $22,500. Stupids Ha ha ha 18 th day engine coolant stated to leak. This time they said its not under warranty..........I had to pay from my pocket......same stupids Ha hA ha If u call the tittle department................NEVER EVER they pick up the phone and U can't leave the message as the voice mail is not activated...........Stupids how can I leave message and receptionist will keep on transferring the call to the same extension. Ha Ha Ha I am waiting for 2 months and 14 days for the tittle ( stupids I paid cash) and according to DMV they mentioned a lien on the car. How stupid and proffesional these ppl are.I am really fed up. Once the deal is done.............I bet my life they will not respond to any calls............... Just forget about it. There are bunch of iditios working there who dont even know there job. According to DMV they put a lien on the car......Stupid's (I PAID FULL). The best is that they kept my car for detailing and guess what after overnight in the shop they didn't clean it.............Guess again, they forgot to inform the service dept HA HA HA. The manager gave me a lonar car............guess what the sales man forgot to give me the dealer number plates height of STUPIDITY Temp registration expired after one month and I got pulled over by a cop and guess what............. still they didn't send my number plates. I asked to transfer my Old customised number plates to this car, first they said they will do it and asked me to put them on my car, guess what.........................when cop pulled me over those number plates were not transferred to this car and I felt like.................... in front of the cop. The cop understood my situation and he let me go. Please take my advise Plse Plse Plse dont even bother to go to HONDA OF TYSON CORNER. Its really bad experience with this honda dealer ship, i went to buy a used civic and took when i trying to negotiage the price they put the extra features which were not there on the car and increased the went to buy a used civic and took when i trying to negotiage the price they put the extra features which were not there on the car and increased the kbb price. once the contract is done and took the vehicle home it has lot of internal problems and it doesn't have power door ABS and no power mirrors. This dealer ship sucks and no takes once you done with sale. No body will even respond. More
Honda of Tysons Corner was previously known as Rosenthal Honda. I bought my used S2000 from them when they were known as Rosenthal. The salesman tricked me by showing me a fake kbb report on the cars valu Honda. I bought my used S2000 from them when they were known as Rosenthal. The salesman tricked me by showing me a fake kbb report on the cars value. After purchasing the vehicle, I tried to duplicate the value on kbb.com at home. No matter what mileage, options and condition I chose, the value was consistently $2000 lower than the kbb report the salesman showed me. Only thing I can think of is he used a California zip or he photoshopped the printout. I have been to Rosenthal/Tysons for service on more than one occasion. EVERY time I have been unsatisfied with the quality of service. They leave greasy fingerprints all over my exterior and on the door handle all but one time. I took it in for a complaint about 1st-2nd gear grind. They treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about and said they couldn't recreate it. After researching it at home, I learned it is a very common problem with S2000s and Honda had released a service bulletin about it. The fact that this dealership never heard of this problem indicates to me that they do not know about S2000s or how to check for service bulletins. I recently took me car to Tysons because my rear brakes were smoking. (I just had new pads installed on all four wheels about a month ago. They were aftermarket OEM replacements from Advance Auto Parts and were installed by a third party garage.) But, when I picked my car up, they informed me that the brakes were smoking because I was using the wrong pads. This is not true. I asked them why aftermarket pads (not cheap ones BTW) would cause the rear brakes to stick and burn up. They said they don't know what caused it. The technician even admitted that the used brakes looked new and were barely worn. There was nothing to justify them taking my almost new brakes off and putting there own on there--just to charge me $220!!! My rear brakes still drag and are still hot so they never fixed it. I will NEVER take my car back to Tysons Honda and will be taking my car to someone who knows how to work on S2000s from now on. This are the two main problems I've had with this dealership. I've heard many complaints and horror stories about this dealership--from forgetting to put parts back on, to taking a customer's car for a joy ride. Bottom line is this place is full of monkeys that do not know how to properly work on cars. I guess changing their name didn't make a difference on their quality of work. DO BUSINESS WITH TYSONS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! More
