Ourisman Laurel, does not have Trained, License Auto Techs. I had a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on my Hyundai. Ourisman had my car in the shop for 8Hrs. They said, they new what was wrong with my car but had no idea h I had a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on my Hyundai. Ourisman had my car in the shop for 8Hrs. They said, they new what was wrong with my car but had no idea how to fix it. But here is my bill for $735 for trying to fix my car. I took the car to a REAL Auto Tech. and he fixed my car for $25. I've driven the call for over 4,000 miles. The car PASSED MD, SUPERVISOR EMISSION testing with NO PROBLEMS. The car runs fine (No Check Engine Light) . Ourisman says there is still a problem with the car but they still don't know how to fix it. If I bring the car back to them and they still can't fix it, I will still have to pay them additional money for TRYING to fix my car. The MD Attorney General's office recommends I take Ourisman to court and they will back me up with my case. More

They kept trying to get me to look around the shop and point out what could have caused the damage. I don't care what caused it, I just know that you caused it. Be a professional and admit it and fix it. The service manager Andrew Cohen is very unprofessional and a crook. He kept trying to split it 50/50. They wouldn't let me talk to the owner or get his contact information. If you go here be sure to video tape your car the whole time or you could get it back missing a door or a busted out window, and they'll claim it didn't happen there. More

He was nothing but professional, and helped me throughout the whole car buying process. In fact, I had no problems whatsoever with the Sales Team, and Finance Department. I truly loved the Dealership that I had bought the car from, and looked forward to a fantastic experience with them. That soon turned for the worse. When I purchased the car, I was told that the first service is free, and they would schedule my appointment. I stated that I needed a weekend, in the morning. As this is the only time that I would be able to make an appointment. Last week I received an email notification telling me that my appointment was on a Friday at 7 am. While, technically, Friday's are a weekend, I work a 9-5 job. I cannot make this appointment. I tried to use their automated system to change the appointment, but the web page wouldn't load properly for me for some reason. No matter the OS, or Device I used. So I figure I would call, and do it over the phone. What could go wrong? I called on Monday at 5 pm. Service Dept was not able to answer the phone and the receptionist took my message and number and told me that someone would be in touch with me. I never got a call back. So on Tuesday at 5 pm, I called again. Still no answer, and another message taken. Still no call back. I repeated this process for each of the days of the week, including Friday (which was AFTER my scheduled appointment) and still never had anyone call me back. Saturday I called and left a message with the Service Manager. I've yet to receive a call from him as well. When I called again today, I was assured that the woman would take my message and hand walk it over to them. At this point, I am fed up. As a customer, I shouldn't have to call 6 times and leave messages to get a call back. (Which I am still waiting on). They will service my car for the first free service, and then at that point I will be looking for a new place to take my car for all it's needs. I'm deeply saddened by this, as it started out so well. I feel like I was misled, and lied to about their 'Great Customer Service' More

My last service on the car indicated to me that they are a shady company that is trying to trick you into getting services you don't actually need - they lump certain services in with other factory recommended services so if you don't comb through what they tell you they want to do, you'll get shafted. When I confronted them about this they tried to play it off as being fair since my next oil change would be free. Perhaps I shouldn't have even gone back for that oil change because, even though it was scheduled, it took nearly an hour and a half. For an oil change. Additionally a car wash is included with oil changes. Well my car was basically rinsed off and if you brush your fingers across the car you would get dirt all over your fingers. The only way I can imagine coming back for anything at all is if my car broke down right outside their parking lot, and even then I'm not sure. More
Loved the Salesman- Hated Everything Since Unprofessional and Untrustworthy. I bought my Sonata in 2012 and co-signed with my Father. This is the only documentation that has both of our information tied together and shortly after, we were notified that our identities had been stolen. Unfortunately this is speculative because we can't prove it, but please be mindful of this when you are choosing your location to purchase your Hyundai. Fast forward to the present, we were suckered into buying the Platinum, bumper to bumper warranty. I've asked several times for clarification on what this gets me and after going to the dealer to have a tire repaired they tell me I'm set for free brake pads. Three hours into the services, the pull me out and hand me a $315 bill because while the pads are free- the roters and brake fluid is not. After much arguing, they agree to put the brake pads on without additional services. My total wait time for an oil change, brake pads, car alignment, radio reset and patching a tire took 6 hours. Once I leave I have to turn around because the radio isn't working and needs to be reset again. Please keep in mind they charged $100 for an oil change and $35 to plug a hole. I know dealerships are going to be on the expensive side, but I would hope the service and work would reflect the prices. The following morning I go outside to find my tire is losing air again. I do not have time in my schedule to drive back for a service that should have already been completed correctly the first time, so when I called back to ask for a $35 refund- their way of handling it was hanging up on me. They also promise every other oil change is free, but what they really mean is every other one pending you go to the paid tune ups they offer. Please do not buy from this dealership. They have many tricks up their sleeves, they're rude and untrustworthy. Please save yourself the headache and heartache and buy somewhere else- I wish I would have. ----UPDATE------- When we went to fix the tire ourselves we found that the nail was still in the tire and they never repaired it at all, but still charged me for it. I have called back four times and only once did a Manager get on the phone for me. He told me he was going to talk to his team and would get back to me that day and I have not heard from him or been able to speak with him since. More

I bought my Hyundai Sonata 4 years ago and when purchasing was guaranteed free oil changes and car washes for life, no questions asked! I had received such service as promised during my purchase for the past four years. All of a sudden, when I had taken my car in for getting something checked out, they stated that they voided my free oil changes unless I get all my maintenance done from them! When I asked for them to look over my contract, they insisted they do not have a copy and transferred me to finance department. Now, if there is this communication gap that exists internally where by, they cannot themselves check and confirm this, there is something wrong. I am so dumbfounded at the horrible way they entice people to purchase a car from them promising free oil changes and then this happens! STAY AWAY. I will NEVER purchase another car from them ever again! More
Horrible customer service. They run a shuttle service, and told me to be outside my work an hour earlier than I was planning to leave for the day. I work right up the road from the place and it took over and told me to be outside my work an hour earlier than I was planning to leave for the day. I work right up the road from the place and it took over an hour for them to pick me up. The first guy got so lost they had to send a second driver. I don't even work 10 minutes away! It was an hour I could have continued working, and when I complained to the manager he just looked at me like I was an idiot and basically told me it was my problem, not his. I would only recommend this place if I hated the person I was sending there. More
At 52K miles, I brought my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 AWD to Ourisman for a repeat problem: a knocking noise up front while accelerating. Ourisman had previously worked on the car in 2012, at 43K miles for to Ourisman for a repeat problem: a knocking noise up front while accelerating. Ourisman had previously worked on the car in 2012, at 43K miles for the same problem -- at that time it took them several tries to identify the cause of the knocking noise as a worn driver's side front axle assembly, which they replaced under warranty. When I called Ourisman this time to make the service appointment I asked about a loaner car and was told one could be provided. That turned out not to be true. I specifically asked the service advisor and mechanic to check the axle assembly - the mechanic declared it fine. After replacing a wheel bearing the knocking noise was still present. At that time the service advisor recommended I get the front brake rotors and pads replaced. I was not convinced this paid work would solve the problem and decided instead to take the car to another dealership. Their mechanic immediately identified the problem as worn front axle assemblies (both right and left), which they replaced under warranty. They also advised me the front brake rotors and pads were fine and not the cause of the knocking noise. More

I appreciated that he was so down-to-earth and treated me like I was a member of his family. I would definately recommend this dealership to anyone. More
