Customer service extraordinaire! We purchased our new Lexus over 2 years ago. We purchased a new garage door opener and we were unsuccessful in linking the new garage door to our hom We purchased our new Lexus over 2 years ago. We purchased a new garage door opener and we were unsuccessful in linking the new garage door to our homelink system in our Lexus. This allows us to open and close the garage door from our car. After spending hours...and I am not exaggerating...following the directions that came with garage door opener, after making multiple calls to the garage door installer, after calling the garage door manufacturer, after watching at least a dozen Youtube videos, after swearing at our new garage door...I called Seth, our car salesman from over 2 years ago and asked for assistance. He, and the Lexus Technical Specialist, Bernie Kitts worked together to link our car to the new garage door opener. I was so grateful and amazed at this remarkable act of kindness and customer service. I would not go anywhere else to buy a car. Thank you Lexus of Rockville and Seth and Bernie!!! More
They damaged 4 of my wheels My 08 lexus IS was bought new and serviced regularly at lexus of Rockville whenever I'm in town, everything has been fine so far until just two days a My 08 lexus IS was bought new and serviced regularly at lexus of Rockville whenever I'm in town, everything has been fine so far until just two days ago they have damaged all four of my brand new wheels from a wheel balance service. The issue now is that they were trying to deny that they have done the damage and now they are in the process of showing the wheel to one of their wheel repair guys and if they do take responsibility for their mistake I'll be able to forgive about the attitude they gave me and give a better rating but so far 1 star for the service. They tried to say that my wheels are dusty and sounds like our car is not important looking down on the car which doesn't make sense because the wheel only has some brake dust from the brand new $1200 brake job performed just last week by lexus of Rockville and the response from their manager I got so far is that they said if the wheel repair won't cost much they will pay for it and they sounds like they don't want to take the responsibility if it cost much! They also tried to say that we got our new wheels with the damage already on it, which doesn't even make sense because who will buy something like that? Whenever I picked up the car from their service I made sure there was no damage at all and there wasn't any when I picked up my car last week after the brake job and just two days ago when I picked up the car from service I found the damage on all the wheels. I'll keep my status updated. More
not happy with service experience I had a bubble in one of my tires. So I called Lexus of Rockville and made an appt for the next day. I even asked if they do work with TIre and Wheel protection companies and the answer positively. The next day or today, I go to the dealership's service. Service Adviser seemed not interested in working out with Tire&Wheel Protection company I purchased. He said they did not accept credit card payments. After calling the service dept. and asking if they did accept CC payments, I went back to the S.A. and asked him again. He changed his words and said that he accepts my CC but not the Auto Knight's (Tire&Wheel Protection Company). ( I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS AN ACTUAL POLICY OR HIS OWN IDEA) I did not have an option so I agree that I would pay with my CC. I asked him to call Auto Knight before changing the tire. According to Auto Knight, the dealership takes photos, the DOT# and invoice and sends these to them. Mr. Service Adviser comes to me after changing the tire if I had taken pictures of the tire. He did not help on doing any of the requisites that Auto Knight asked. Mr. Service Adviser wanted me to take all that information and communicate with them. I do not have any problems with doing that but in general, the dealership contacts them on their own because in GENERAL payment is directly from AUTO KNIGHT to the dealership. More

I had the rear wiper replaced and was very pleased with the care and service I received at Lexus of Rockville. I worked with Mr. Huitz online and he arranged for the part to be delivered and scheduled a Sa the care and service I received at Lexus of Rockville. I worked with Mr. Huitz online and he arranged for the part to be delivered and scheduled a Saturday appointment for me. Mr. Cannon was my service adviser and I was very pleased with the professionalism of Mr. Cannon and Mr. Huitz. I was in and out of the service department quickly and enjoyed the time I was at the dealership. This is my first Lexus and I am very happy with it. Kathy Lowing More
My salesman was great. Go see Seth... Service dept is OK. They just completed new customer waiting lounge which is nice. There are computers w/internet access to use on 2nd fl. Service advisors are kind of stand offish and will walk right by you as you stand in the service lane and not even acknowledge you. My one major complaint... The service visit carwash STINKS. My car actually has come back on every occassion dirtier then when I dropped it off. I had to start asking they not wash my car because I get tired of cleaning after I pick it up. They do NOT dry the car completely, vacuum, or shine tires! During one visit, they delivered my car with bird crap all over the hood and when I complained to the porter he proceeded to whip it off with tire acid!!! For the price you pay for service and the vehicle they need to step this up a couple of notches. Other lower end car dealers offer more and better service on this front. More
Talk about one dealership that has totally revamped their customer service over the past few years. Used to use them to service a previous Lexus and the service was only so-so. Truly an excellent experience nowadays though, the best out of the Lexus dealers I've used to service my car. Service is always done quickly, and they're always respectful of my admittedly nitpicky requirements about how my car is treated while its there. Tony is great, and is one of the two service advisors I've ever met that I trust to give me straight information about what needs to be done and what can wait. Always plenty of clean gassed up loaners ready to go too. Came to Rockville after Silver Spring damaged my car twice in a row while it was in for service. Working with Tony and Lexus of Rockville makes servicing my other car (A Toyota Prius) at Toyota a real "slumming it" experience. The only thing I can't rate as perfect is the pricing. All Lexus dealers are expensive ($90-100 an hour here) but for some reason the same service packages are always a good bit more at Rockville than at Silver Spring. But, at Rockville they can at least park the cars without ramming them into things... More
