Visited this dealership for the first time. I'm well versed in cars, can turn a wrench myself, and usually use trusted independent mechanics for things I need help with. I decided to give this dealer a shot because I needed the work done quickly and the price quoted online ($190) seemed fair. The service advisor was friendly overall, but I was disappointed by the typical attempt to overcharge (nearly 2X) for a fairly simple service "because the computer said so". They did make good on the original quote, but only after I called them out and asked to speak to the service manager. Sadly, I assume this tactic works on most unsuspecting customers and is the way things simply are with dealership compensation models. At the end of the service, I was offered new control arms for more than $3K - wow. I was expecting much more from the "legendary" Lexus service experience I had heard about. Perhaps they are busy enough without my business. Thank you. More
