With in a few minutes of sending an email that I was interested in a 2008 rabbit I received an email from Marvin letting me know the vehicle was still available and he was ready to help. I stopped in a few days later, unannounced, to see the vehicle. Marvin was not available so I spoke to Mike. Mike was less than helpful and didn't seem like he wanted to sell anything. I expressed how much I liked the car but I couldn't finance what they were asking for it. He might have spoken 10 words to me the entire 35 minutes I was there. I left feeling very disappointed and started searching for other vehicles. The next day I received another email from Marvin asking what happened and what he could do to help. I responded to him explaining my financial situation and asked if he had any suggestions. He called me the following day and said he was able to work some things out and get me more money for my trade in. I was ecstatic! I went the following day, calling ahead this time, Marvin met me in the parking lot with a big smile and firm handshake and within the hour I was driving off the lot in my new rabbit! Andre handled the financing for me, I had already been approved with Bank of America. He got me a better interest rate, was very informative and knowledgeable. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the customer service provided by Marvin and Andre. I hope Mike was just having a bad day and does not treat all his customers the way he handled me. The day before a trip out of country my check engine light came on. I called the dealership and they said they would check my Jetta as soon as I could get to the dealership. I really appreciated the quick and thoughtful service. I was really pushed for time preparing for a nearly 3 week business trip. Last year we had a bad experience with this dealer when my wife took the car in for warranty work. The service manager was horrible. I swore we would use another dealer in the future. It just so happened that the next time we needed service, it would be convenient to use Waldorf Volkswagen again. (We are 1 hour away and they are the closest VW dealer). I tried to contact the service manager and his email was returned undeliverable. After contacting the dealership, I was introduced to the new Service Manager and was assured by him that the dealer service had changed. To cut to the point, George Greenway (Service Manager) and Chris (Service Rep) both made our visit for our 40,000 mile check 100% better than we could have hoped. That is how it should be! My Certified Pre-owned 2006 VW Jetta had a rotational noise coming from the front wheels, the suspension seemed like it was bouncing more than usual, and there was a squeaking noise coming from the rear noise coming from the front wheels, the suspension seemed like it was bouncing more than usual, and there was a squeaking noise coming from the rear axle of the car. I took the car into Waldorf VW to have it checked out. David Bell attentively assisted me by listening to my issues with the car, and writing it up for service. I was provided with a service loaner car. David called me later the same day to tell me that the noise came from one of the front tires. Waldorf VW replaced the bad tire that was making the rotational noise, free of charge. The suspension was in good shape on the car. The squeaking noise was due to one side of rear seats was not properly latched into place. Once that side of the rear seats was latched into place, there was no more squeaking noise. David Bell made sure that I had a pleasant service experience from the time I dropped off the car to the time that I picked the car up. He and the service technicians made sure that the car was properly checked out and fixed, to resolve the issues that I had with the car. I could not have asked for a more pleasant service experience, and a very understanding and attentive service advisor than David. It's people like David who make Waldorf VW an excellent place to do business with. More

The service manager who happens to be the owner’s son should resign and get a job in a field he knows because service aint it. I went there for a maintenance issue and was told I had thousands of dollars of damage which turned out to be not true. I took the vehicle for a second opinion and was told no such damage existed. Take you business to another dealership or choose another vehicle make. And remember they own VW of Alexander as well so you might get the same family type of No Good service. More

15k mile service, $277? It was little more than an oil change. I also scheduled to have the Homelink/Auto Dimming mirror installed during the same visit. After being there an hour, the service guy told me that they didn't order the mounting kit for the mirror as well. What kind of business is this? He even said that all the mounts are universal for Subarus. So why not have one or two in stock, because they fit ALL CARS?! What happened to the days when you got a loaner car during longer service visits? What about cleaning your car after a PAID visit? Why did I have to borrow wifi from a neighboring business? Goodbye Waldorf Subaru. You will not be missed. More

After all, they are just down the road from us. My daughter and I were looking at cars on the lot and inside the dealership for 20 minutes before, a salesperson approached us. Amazingly, it was Joe, the same salesperson who failed to help my husband buy a car the previous year. I took the time to aprise Joe of the fact that he had dropped the ball last year with my husband, but we were giving the dealership a second chance. I told Joe exactly what I wanted, and since that particular car was not at the Waldorf dealership I asked if he could locate one from the online Subaru inventory. Shockingly, I asked this FOUR times with no attempt on his part to do so. I, also, found it interesting that he never offered a test drive of a Subaru. I have never been to a dealership at which a key to test drive is not shoved into my hand with the first hello. I asked twice to test drive, before Joe began the process of signing out a car. After test driving, I requested, once again, whether Subaru had the car I wanted in inventory. He still had not searched online for the car I wanted. My discussion with him of using the "Cash for Clunkers" program turned into his telling me that I was wrong regarding the program. While I had perused the government website just that morning for specific conditions and information, Joe stated that he did not know of any website. I guess that explains why he knew more about the program than I did. Well, we tried our best to give Waldorf Subaru a second chance, but Joe Orazio sent us away to Herb Gordon once again. More
