I purchased a used car Feb. 15, of this year. I traded the vehicle that I drove to the dealership and returned home, about 40 miles, with a used Audi A5. Because of the unfavo 15, of this year. I traded the vehicle that I drove to the dealership and returned home, about 40 miles, with a used Audi A5. Because of the unfavorable weather, the car was parked and driven again the next week, to the gym, about 15 miles. During that trip the check engine light came on. I assumed that there was a leak at the gas cap so I removed and replaced the cap, ensuring that it was locked. I drove the car home from the gym and didn't deal with it again until the next week. The light was still glowing so I thought that a full tank would rush the process so I attempted to add gas but it wouldn't allow a flow so I assumed that there was a problem with the pump that I was using. I went to another pump with the same result. I returned the vehicle to the dealer (you guys, Ourisman Volkswagen) the next day. This was Mar. 2 of the same year. After telling me that I should try to tease the gas into the car until it was full, the salesman took the car to the service department and they decided to keep it and check it out. I'm now at this dealership without a ride home. When I was told that they would check it out I asked how I would get home and received nothing. The salesman looked at the floor and didn't offer a response so I was left to call an Uber. I didn't hear from Ourisman until 8 days later when I arrived and asked for an update. The salesman went to the service department and returned to say that the vehicle was with Audi and they suspect a clogged or bent hose, he later said a disconnected hose. I didn't understand why it would take more than a week to reconnect a hose but he added that they were doing some analysis to confirm the diagnosis. I left to return again 3 days later and faced another salesman who returned from the service department saying they were still analyzing at Audi to ensure that they don't miss anything. I called Friday Mar. 13 and was told that the vehicle was with Volkswagen and that I should call the service department to find out if it was fixed. I called. The service tech reviewed Audi's findings to conclude that the vehicle needed another fuel tank and that Volkswagen would not pay for it. He said that I should speak with the sale manager. The sales manager told me, I am paraphrasing here, "You should have bought the Extended Warranty". I heard, "We should sell faulty vehicles and offer you a product, that we also profit from", to help protect you. I feel as if I've been mugged. It would take a lot to convince me that Ourisman didn't know that this car needed a gas tank. They held the car for 11 days, never contacting me during the entire process. Leaving me to believe that Audi, with here special tools, took 11 days to diagnose a faulty fuel tank. They were also armed with an argument that the 30 day warranty has expired. When I mentioned the warranty to the sales manager he said it only apply to engine parts, not inspection items as told during the purchase process. I made this purchase in Maryland because of the protections of the inspections but the sales manager helped me understand that the idea of inspections is fluff. He said that they don't have to ensure emissions standards. I've filed a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General, the Montgomery County Attorney General, and the BBB. I'm reaching out to the Veterans Administration seeking their help with this manner. I'm comfortable that this company sold a vehicle they knew was faulty. This car was in their inventory for quite a while and I believe they were aware of the problem filling the gas tank. I'm comfortable with the notion that the check engine fault light appeared, more than once, and they cleared it whenever it happened. It's not unlikely that they checked the problem out in their service/maintenance shop and this vehicle never found it's way to Audi. It was offer for sale to me. More
The GM Behzad is very unprofessional and rude, once you buy the car he doesn’t care you’re just a number to him. He curses and doesn’t answer emails or calls. buy the car he doesn’t care you’re just a number to him. He curses and doesn’t answer emails or calls. More

I had the worst experience at Ourisman VW of Rockville. Additionally, when I was there yesterday 1/3; I overheard the general manager behaving very rude and unprofessionally—slamming a table, cursing, and using offensive language, including a racial slur (xxxxx). This kind of behavior is unacceptable and creates a hostile environment for everyone there. Due to these issues, I plan to file complaints regarding the fees with the state attorney general, the MVA, BBB, and the FTC. I hope the dealership addresses these problems for future customers. More
The sales department was not forthcoming with pre-existing body damage on vehicle, drove 2 hours to do the deal. Got home, and noticed large scratch that was attempted to be covered up that was not disclosed. Now that is $1800 out of pocket to fix. Definitely feels more like just another sale, than truly caring for the customer like family. Do yourself a favor, avoid at all costs, take your business elsewhere! More
Came from Frederick thinking I was getting the ID. 4 since I was told the deal was done and then I get there the car somehow sold last night! They should have put a sold sign on the car if the deal was 4 since I was told the deal was done and then I get there the car somehow sold last night! They should have put a sold sign on the car if the deal was done. Smh…The finance manger and salesman were both very apologetic, which I appreciated, however I wish they would have informed me before I arrived. Also that VW receptionist that worked on 9/20 at 9:30am is rude asf! I walked up to the desk said good morning to her and she acted like she didn’t want to speak back nor did she act like she wanted to help. Don’t take your nastiness out on others if you don’t want to be at work. I just had a gut feeling it was going to be some xx today, and I’m so glad that I had a back up plan and I found another ID.4 at Alexandria VW where I was greeted with respect from start to finish. I’m so glad I don’t have to come back to this place ever again! I’m only giving 1 stars because the finance and sales person were nice! More
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AND SALESPERSON KENNY WYNN AT ALL COSTS! THIS IS YOUR WARNING! I was in contact with Kenny Wynn at Ourisman VW regarding the purchase of a used Lexus. I was very clear with my qu COSTS! THIS IS YOUR WARNING! I was in contact with Kenny Wynn at Ourisman VW regarding the purchase of a used Lexus. I was very clear with my questions and expectations on the deal with Kenny Wynn because it was a 2 hour drive for me each direction (4 hours round trip). I asked Kenny to view the exterior and interior of the car for me and report back, specifically if there were any scratches, dings, dents or curb rash on the vehicle. Kenny Wynn was quick to respond and said the car looked great, no damage and was in excellent condition. I also asked Kenny to confirm that there were two sets of keys to the vehicle, which he quickly responded and confirmed that there were two sets of keys. I let him know that I was driving two hours to purchase the car and these specifics were important to me. I also let him know that if I arrive and there are any games played I would not be happy. He responded "Oh no, we don't do that here" I loaded my family into our car and we hit the road making the two hour trip to the dealership. When we arrived we met Kenny Wynn who showed us to the vehicle and took my information for a test drive. I walked around the vehicle only to notice that there were several dings, dents and scratches in the trim molding on the passenger side of the vehicle which were blatantly obvious. The vehicle looked like it had been the target of a vengeful ex. Also, both rear wheels had significant curb rash. Next I asked Kenny "You have two sets of keys correct?" to which he replied "Let me check." He came back and claimed that he couldn't find the second set of keys. Obviously I was not happy and reminded him that this was something that I specifically asked about before making the drive. Kenny Wynn proceeded to blame it on a co-worker and not take ownership for the mistake. I was blatantly lied to no less them 4 times to my face by Kenny Wynn and I have receipts to prove it. It was a complete waste of my time, my families time, gas and tolls. Kenny Wynn is a blatant liar and has no respect or regard for customers time and money. Karma will catch up to you Kenny Wynn and Ourisman needs to do better. If you decide to purchase from Ourisman or anywhere else make sure you request a new salesperson if you are placed with Kenny Wynn. You will thank me for this advice. More
I signed a contract for a pre-owned Tiguan on July 5, and as of July 17, I still haven’t received the vehicle. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in December, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating ever since. I was told some work needed to be done on the car and to return the next day. When I and the experience has been nothing but frustrating ever since. I was told some work needed to be done on the car and to return the next day. When I came back, not only was the work not done, but the staff acted like they had no record of my purchase. I ended up waiting unnecessarily while they sorted it out. I was also supposed to receive important tax documentation, which never arrived. Despite numerous phone calls and even an in-person visit from my husband, we were repeatedly given the runaround. Now, they no longer answer the phone at all. I had hoped to receive the documents before the April 15 tax deadline, but that came and went with no response. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. It’s clear they have no interest in standing by their promises or providing even the most basic level of customer service. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
