Rude and unprofessional I went to Ourisman Volkswagen to buy my leased Jetta. As part of that process, I had the vehicle MD State inspected in their service department. After I went to Ourisman Volkswagen to buy my leased Jetta. As part of that process, I had the vehicle MD State inspected in their service department. After the inspection, Isaac Chee (who is General Manager of Sales but insists on calling himsef THE General Manager) sat down with me to talk about the remaining balance on my vehicle. He said that I owed more than $11,000 on the car without explaining that he'd added a warranty and other nonsensical charges into the payoff amount. I had already called VW credit and knew I owed $9,000. When I informed him of this, he became angry and finally explained the fees he'd added. He also blatantly lied about the MD State inspection process. He told me, repeatedly, that I had to complete the work needed for the vehicle to pass inspection at his dealership. When I said no to that, he lied again and said the service department had already begun work on the repairs. I told him that the service department had already told me they wouldn't start work until I'd reviewed the paperwork. Mr. Chee then jumped up from his seat, left me in the office, and ran to the service department. I followed him and was again assured that the work had not been started (the gentlemen in the service department were polite and professional and I would absolutely recommend them for repairs). Mr. Chee then walked away and never apologized for lying or for his rude behavior. He seems to think that he can he rip off uneducated consumers and then ignore them when he gets caught. Don't buy your car from him. It will definitely cost you more if you do. More

Love My New Beetle--Thanks to Goldie! It is very clear from the first moment you meet Goldie that he loves people and he loves cars. And two minutes after meeting him, you will realize how It is very clear from the first moment you meet Goldie that he loves people and he loves cars. And two minutes after meeting him, you will realize how knowledgable he is and that you are in the hands of a very extraordinary and capable person. Let me say up front, that I absolutely love my new Beetle that Goldie helped me to buy. My last two cars have been VWs, purchased from Oarsman Honda Volkswagen of Laurel: a Golf and then an Eos. I had the Golf for 12 years, and the Eos for 10 1/2. I love German engineering for its reliability. I have a long commute, an hour each way, from work to home, and I need a car I could trust. I always knew that when I would by my next car that I would buy a Volkswagen and by it from my favorite dealership, Oarsman VW of Laurel. I say favorite sincerely. The staff there from the technicians to the mechanics to the sales reps to the accountants are very helpful, service-oriented, and gracious folks. And Goldie (Bill Goldsmith) embodies all these virtues. I went in a few weeks ago and traded in my Eos after a ten-year love affair with that lovely hunk of metal. But my commute had taken its toll on Ursula (yes, I name my cars, I'm afraid). And so, I was looking to buy another VW, but I told Goldie that I was concerned about the miles that I had to drive back and forth each day, and he was very sympathetic. He did not try to sell me a car that was out of my budget. He recognized that I had a long commute and would end up putting a lot of miles on it. But he also recognized that, after owning my luxurious Eos, I needed a replacement vehicle that did not make me feel that I was sacrificing comfort. He said, "I have just the car for you." And I am not kidding, he did! He brought around a beautiful hard top 2017 snowy white Beetle. And he said upfront that he was not going to try to sell me the high end model of the car, with all the bell's and whistles, because he was sympathetic my long commute and my budget. And I was very impressed by that. He also took the time to help me set up some of the features in the car, and then helped me process all the paperwork very efficiently so that it was a virtually hassle-free buying experience. If you are looking for a new car, please consider VW of Laurel and give Goldie a holler. He is very good at listening to what you want and selling you what you need. God bless him! More
