From the sales floor to the service department, first rate From the sales floor to the service department, my experience with Oxmoor MAZDA would bring me back again. I purchased a 2015 Mazda3 Grand Touring model with less than 30k miles. Bill was very helpful, not at all pushy but clearly proud of the product he was selling. We talked about my automotive needs and he helped me narrow the field. After a couple of days, I found there were issues with the sound system and returned to the dealership. John diagnosed the problem quickly and stood good for the replacement parts that were needed. He addressed the issues professionally, promptly. These guys really mean it when they say the customer comes first. I am completely satisfied with my car and this dealership. Thanks guys More

Expectations Too High? Went looking at the CX-5 for my wife. I contacted Oxmoor via the contact form on their website. I was contacted by Adriana (Addy) by phone to confirm Went looking at the CX-5 for my wife. I contacted Oxmoor via the contact form on their website. I was contacted by Adriana (Addy) by phone to confirm the appointment and to inform us that the CX-5s we were interested in (Grand Touring and Grand Touring Reserve) would be pulled and ready for us to drive upon arrival. When we arrived, we were greeted by Sales Consultant, John. We mentioned we had an appointment with Addy and he went to let her know we were there. After a few minutes, Addy greeted us with John and told us that we would be working with him. She said she was only Internet sales and that she merely arranges the appointments and pairs the customer with sales staff. I was not pleased and I cant say my wife was, either. Why were we not informed that we would be working with someone else?We drive each vehicle and leave for the day mentioning to John that we had another vehicle to consider and that we would make our decision within 48 hours. He was ok to work with that day, however, he really did not put a lot of effort into getting to know us. We engaged him in conversation to keep things light. After our other test drive and deliberation that evening, my wife decided she wanted to drive the CX-5 again the next day with the possibility of moving forward to purchase. Addy had happened to text me to ask about our time with John. I told her that we were displeased with the handoff and she apologized, restating what she had said earlier that day about "just being internet sales." We went back the next day. John also apologized for the confusion. We drove and ultimately decided to move forward with purchasing the CX-5. This part of the process was most disappointing. John brings out a sheet illustrating price of the vehicle, discounts, etc. Prior to that, we asked John that in their offer, that they figure in Indiana State sales tax and to remove the $500 cash from the price advertised on the internet because we were interested in the .9% financing offered. We had done the math in our research, and when he presented us with the offer sheet, nothing seemed right. I asked him for time to talk this over. We worked out the numbers to figure out how he got those numbers on the sheet. It turns out that he had not done anything we had asked. The discount was still present and the tax charged was for Kentucky. When I asked him about all of it, he said this was just an example of how the price looked, fees, etc and that it was not a final offer. I asked about additional equipment priced on the vehicle and the "special benefits" listed on the offer sheet. John could not explain what the special benefits were. When I pressed him for an explanation, his tone made it sound like I was inconveniencing him to produce a reason as to what we were paying for. He finally gave us a pamphlet explaining the benefits. The added equipment was a pulsing brake light assembly that is installed by Oxmoor on every vehicle. My wife and I saw no reason to have this $400 equipment and asked that it be removed. John's response was pretty condescending as to say you seriously want this removed? I guess people just dont care about paying for something they didnt ask for. After correcting the paperwork, we agreed on the price. When we went to Finance, the numbers on the actual contract reflected what was on the offer sheet. If we had said nothing and not taken the time to do the math, the whole contract would have been messed up and we, would be left paying the difference in taxes as a nasty surprise when it came time to register the car in Indiana. We waited about an hour to work with Mario, the Finance Director. In that time, John and the other sales staff were around the front desk talking. One guy must have been new, because they were coaching him on how to sell, but in probably in the most unprofessional manor possible and loud enough to be heard by us. They remarked about how they will encounter customers that arent idiots, and so on. We dont think its advisable to "talk shop" when customers are within earshot. Finally, we worked with Mario, which was pleasant. He was to the point, explained everything well and was patient with us as we read all paperwork. After all the reviews I read on this site about Oxmoor Mazda, we had high hopes that this would be a great experience. It was middling at best. Perhaps this was a one off experience and we were just unlucky, but I would be hesitant about returning for a future purchase. If you choose to buy from here, do your homework and read everything. TL;DR Went in with high hopes for a good buying experience, left disappointed with the staff but an awesome vehicle. More
