Extremely disappointed with how this dealership handled our attempt to purchase a Bronco. At closing Thursday, I told salesman Mason that my dad was ready to put down a deposit to hold the Bronco until our attempt to purchase a Bronco. At closing Thursday, I told salesman Mason that my dad was ready to put down a deposit to hold the Bronco until Saturday. Mason told me that he would call my dad at 8:30 Friday morning to take the deposit over the phone. He specifically assured me the Bronco could NOT be sold before then. My father is 91 years old and was buying the Bronco for his grandson who is in college and needs something to drive. My father still believes that a man’s word is worth something. Mason never called. At 10:30 Friday morning, he wasn’t even at work yet. Between 10:00-10:30 they sold the Bronco to someone else. A man’s word apparently means nothing anymore. The ONLY reason my dad wasn’t able to buy this truck was because we relied on Mason’s assurance and his promise to call the next morning. In addition, I spoke with Chad the manager because he was going to “get to the bottom of it and call me back”. Never happened. I have called him three times to no avail. I genuinely don’t expect to hear from him. That is absolutely unacceptable. More
