I used the Ford Pass App to schedule an oil change for my 2012 Ford F-150. When I got there I found out the app isn’t good for oil changes, just regular repair work. The Service Advisor and Department did a nice job and upon finding out my battery wasn’t up to snuff, replaced it too. More

The good: the service manager got us money off the repair as warranty work. The Bad: I drove my truck home (10miles) afterwards and it leaked antifreeze. I sent it back and was told the water pump went bad. as warranty work. The Bad: I drove my truck home (10miles) afterwards and it leaked antifreeze. I sent it back and was told the water pump went bad. The mechanic stated that he did not remove the water pump during the initial repair. My receipt showed they billed me for a water pump gasket. You cannot put a water pump gasket on without removing the water pump. I called the service manager 3 times over 4 days and also emailed to check on my truck. I never heard from him. I went to the dealer to check on the truck and was told it was ready. They charged me to replace the water pump. Service manager admitted I was charged for the water pump gasket, but it was never installed on my truck. He said it would void the warranty if it wasn’t listed on the receipt. I will NEVER use this service department again. I would give them a zero or less, but they did contact the ford Rep about the initial repair. I currently own 4 Ford vehicles and have only bought Fords for the past 15 years. More
