Lack of integrity here …I attempted to purchase a Lack of integrity here … I attempted to purchase a Bronco Sport Badlands vehicle online through True Car in March and received an offer to buy from Lack of integrity here … I attempted to purchase a Bronco Sport Badlands vehicle online through True Car in March and received an offer to buy from Palm Coast Ford. I completed all the paperwork for the loan and trade in and received a Deal Code for the purchase at $36,958 but before I could get to the dealership I received a phone call telling me the vehicle was sold to someone else. The salesman apologized and invited me in to the dealership to place an order for a similar vehicle and said it would only take 6-8 weeks. We placed the order April 5th with MSRP of $37,795 and with agreement to purchase with the XPlan pricing. Six months later I was informed my vehicle was ready and after test driving it they told me they were not accepting XPlan pricing and the purchase price of the vehicle was $45,340 due to market adjustments. A markup of $7,545 from the order price. Be warned they will take your orders and profit from them. Honorable dealers are not adding market adjustments to personal orders. More
