Every time I call the dealership I press the designated number for service and am still not transferred to the service department but instead to a receptionist who then transfers me. When I am on hold for service it is always for at least 10 mins. The staff are nice when you drop off but don’t communicate well between then and pick up and always act annoyed at pick up when they never told you to check our at the receptionist not at the service center- it’s an entirely different thing if you’re picking up a part as well. They also don’t seem to communicate well together. I was the only person there but Wally wouldn't help me because I was on Tim's schedule. I stood in front of Tim for 10 minutes before he finally helped me. Brought vehicle to the dealer as was having issues with alternator not charging the battery this was my main concern. I explained all I had recently done ,new alt.new batt,new seprpentine,new terminals. I alternator not charging the battery this was my main concern. I explained all I had recently done ,new alt.new batt,new seprpentine,new terminals. I also explained I was searching their expertise on what the issue could be as my snap on scanner was listing a ecm issue but I had that and still not issue. I was told perhaps Chrysler has their own scanning diagnosis. I also informed them I wasn't looking at huge bill. I was quoted 140 diagnostic fee. Fine reasonable. They stayed that came back with throttle wire issues. I thought huum dudnt seem to have any of those issues prior and I told them that and that I was almost certain that IS NOT the issue. They stated that's what it came back. I paid 400 plus for that repair. Once done he stated test drove 2 miles all is fine. I asked him is the alt charging the battery now , he said didnt know that was an issue ( really that's why I'm here) he said the mechanic did and it's got good voltage. anyhow I left and got 3 blocks and the truck died. Guess what wasn't the issue and no the voltage is not good the salt drain ed my battery. I have accomplished not a xxxx thing and could continue this way on my own. So much for the dealer knowing their product. Clearly I know more than they did. Now they want another 400 to continue to assess my issue further. NOT ON MY DIME. I could have gotten this kind of service anywhere else at a far LESS price for the same xxxx result but I figured straight to the source. NEVER again this expert did nothing of any expertise. Now I'm out $400 plus and in worse shape than I started cuz now my car dont run at all. Dont go here ...go somewhere else. More
Patti was extremley helpful during our service visit. We are older and have trouble walking so she brought our vehicle to us when the service was completed so we wouldn’t have to walk so far.
