Panama City Toyota

I purchased my 2021 Toyota 4runner as a certified pre-owned vehicle from Panama City Toyota May 2nd 2025 from John. He was very nice. He is retired now, just my luck. I was sold all the premium warra pre-owned vehicle from Panama City Toyota May 2nd 2025 from John. He was very nice. He is retired now, just my luck. I was sold all the premium warranties and roadside coverages they had to offer. It all sounded so good. Anything goes wrong it will be so easy they claimed. So my vehicle payment is higher, by 30-40$ per month bc I have the premium roadside coverage and the platinum bumper to bumper coverage up to 100,000 miles. At time of purchase my vehicle had about 38,000 miles. Now it has about 81,000. I drive a lot and I love my runner. Today I need to use my coverage for the very first time. My vehicle is in my friends driveway, it won't start. The message says something is wrong with the multi-terrain select. I'm not sure what that means, but something to do with the transfer case/4wd functionality. I am supposed to be driving home tomorrow, two states away from where I am today. I called the roadside number, they sent me a text at first to fill out my claim. At the end it wanted me to pay $200. Instead I called the number back to talk to a person. I could not understand a word she said. I asked to speak to someone else, got put back to the beginning of the recording so had to go through the whole thing again. Then I got sent to a man, I could understand him a little, but he couldn't understand me. Again I asked to speak to someone else, but then he hung up. I'm pretty defeated at this point as you might imagine. I called the dealership, that's when I found out John retired. So they put me through to Chris in service. Chris seemed nice enough at first. He told me I bought all the highest stuff from them and I should be good. I asked why I needed to pay for towing if I had premium roadside assistance. He said if the problem with my vehicle was a manufacturer defect I would be re-imbursed. I had to pay out of pocket until someone decides that. I asked Chris again why I had to pay if I had the premium roadside assistance, "what if I had a flat tire" I said. Chris again gave me the manufacturer defect speech and told me that I didn't have a flat tire. I was pretty xxxxxx at this point. I told Chris I knew they were selling me xxxxxxxxx when I bought it and I should have known better. He hung up. So if you are looking for a good Toyota, Panama City might have one for you, but don't you dare think for one second they are going to stand by you. It took a year and a half for me to need to use what I paid for and turns out it was a load of crap. I have to pay out of pocket for what I already paid Panama City Toyota to cover me for. Thanks for nothing. Thanks for Chris being an absolute tool and just repeating himself over and over that "if it is a manufacturer defect I would be reimbursed". Dude had to say that same thing to me at least 4 times over in a span of 3 minutes. Panama City Toyota will not stand by their warranties nor roadside assistance. They are selling you someone else's responsibility, then collecting the check up front. Don't make the same mistake I made. More

Bought my 2024 taco from them 2 years ago and never had any problems until the other day. Took the truck in for a leveling kit and to fix two recall issues. Roman was my contact. After picking up the truck it became obvious that it was seriously out of alignment. Steering wheel off center amd front tires towed in and pulling to the rihjt. Called multiple times and was told Roman was gone and off the next day. Left messages snd still haven't heard from anyone. I ended up taking my truck to Firestone and paid out of pocket to get it aligned. Absolutely ridiculous More
