Panama City Toyota is a family-owned company that has operated under substantially the same ownership for over 25 years. We have significant ties to the community, and believe it is our obligation to make Bay County—really the entire Florida Panhandle—a better place to live.
Although family has tenure in the community and in the automotive business, the current leadership probably has more experience as an automotive customers than as an automotive operators. Hopefully this causes us to see everything through a “customer lens,” and keeps us from ever forgetting that unfamiliarity can be intimidating. We strive to eliminate that feeling.
An early tagline for the dealership was the recognizable phrase, “Where Relationships are Born.” While this may not always be used in the dealership’s current advertising, the sentiment remains. Here, our team recognizes it’s not about us, but instead it’s about you, the customer. You are the main character of the story and we are here simply to guide you into the perfect vehicle to accomplish your goals.

These include not only Toyota certified used vehicles, but also pre-owned vehicles of many other domestic and foreign brands. Chris Schmidt just handled it I came in for my first service on my car and Mr. Schmidt was who handled the details. Luckily, I had purchased the warranty pkg. and did not know it b I came in for my first service on my car and Mr. Schmidt was who handled the details. Luckily, I had purchased the warranty pkg. and did not know it but had a large nail in my tire that could not be repaired. While I was waiting, the tire was replaced with my spare and a new tire ordered, car serviced, and run through the car wash all in 1/2 the time expected. As someone who lost their home and cars during hurricane Michael and has had to spend all their spare time arguing with home and flood insurance, you do not know how much I appreciate having someone JUST HANDLE IT. Thank you for such perfect customer care. More
