I'm a decently young guy, so when I wonder into a car dealership looking to get a Challenger SRT8 it makes sense that there would be some skepticism. I first ran into Garry Cwikla who initially and understandably had his doubts, but once I shared my situation he made it a goal to get that car down to the price I was looking for. It was clear that there were some very specific hurdles, but he stuck with me all the way until the point that I walked out the door with a brand new SRT8 for a price better than I wanted. Garry was very helpful, fun to talk to and made the process enjoyable. Furthermore Papa's is eye candy with their huge inventory, so even though it can be a long process to finally walk out the door, it didn't really feel like it. More

Jeromy exemplifies the term “sales professional” with emphasis on the word “professional”. He is customer focused, highly personable, has strong product knowledge and executed our sale in a very honest, pressure free manner. I shopped four other Jeep dealers for pricing but knew I wanted to buy at Papa’s based on the courteous professional manner in which I was treated and the aggressive pricing. Business Manager Jeff Juaire was also very professional and customer friendly. We were also very impressed with the dealer facility itself which offers a unique and pleasant buying environment unlike any dealership I have ever visited before. There are vintage autos on display, an in-house diner if your appetite kicks up during the sales or service process and even a hair salon all under the same roof. I would highly recommend Papa’s and Jeromy Berman to anyone in the market shopping for a new or used vehicle. Nice job Papa’s! We hope this is just the beginning of a long business relationship. More
My Review of Papa’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep: Recently my My Review of Papa’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep: Recently my father and I were both in the market for new vehicles, and let’s just say that I really did my h My Review of Papa’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep: Recently my father and I were both in the market for new vehicles, and let’s just say that I really did my homework on the vehicles that we were looking at. The two vehicles we were interested in purchasing were, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee and a new Jeep Wrangler. I think I visited every dealership in the surrounding area to check inventory and compare prices, because honestly if you compare three different dealers one of them will actually be “dealing”. To be honest I was somewhat skeptical on Papa’s slogan “No one beats our prices” because let’s face it we all want that comfort of knowing we are getting the best price, especially in today’s economy. Although I was skeptical we decided to give the dealership a shot, to see if there was any truth behind that statement, plus they did have one of the largest selections that I could find at any other dealership on either vehicle. Once we got to Papa’s my father any myself started looking through the inventory to see what cars we would be interested in, and within about five minutes of being there we were approached by a “salesmen” which most of the time everyone dreads because then the sales pitches come. Yet this time it wasn’t a salesmen that approached us it was Gary Cwikla, although Gary works for Papa’s and does sell cars he’s not your typical salesmen. Gary made the entire process of buying the car(s) enjoyable, and he got us the best possible price right away without any need of negotiating because his offer was way lower than any other dealer around. Working with Gary was like being around an old friend, as I watched my father and Gary converse about old cars that they had in earlier years of both of their lives, there really wasn’t any pressure to make a sale. As he said if this works out great if not “I’m really glad to meet you guys, I love meeting people and I love cars” which is why he told us he’s in this business. Gary Cwikla is the reason why we made the purchase where and when we did, Gary stood up for us with his own company and gave us the best deal he could; only worried about one thing, getting us both in a car we would enjoy and finding a way to get us the best deal. Personally my father and I have now owned four Jeeps, and always bought from another local dealership but after this last purchase, it’s safe to say that Papa’s will have returning business from my family. Which all the credit should go to Gary with the experience and services he provided. I’ve never been one to write reviews but after this experience and how satisfied my father and I are with are new purchases I felt personally obligated to. If you read this review and think personally I must have some sort of affiliation with the dealership or with Gary think again because I give credit where credit is due, and I feel if you’re in the market for a vehicle new or used that you need to go see Gary you might get a car or you might not but you will have a few laughs along the way and be offered the best possible price. I ordered a 2013 Jeep Wrangler through Jeromy, and had a great experience. Steered us away from the cars out of our budget - which we completely appreciated. Because of his knowledge, patience, and respect of our needs and budget - we were able to get a great Jeep. Papas dealership in New Britain is a sight to see- fun, friendly, and historic! I highly recommend others to visit and take a look around. Lots of friendly faces which tells me that Papas not only takes care of there clients but those that work there as well. Finance dept was great -- explained everything and answered all our questions and concerns. Highly recommend this dealer and dealership! More
Let me start by saying this is the first good review of anything ive ever felt the need to take the time to write. I was referred to Papas dodge by a friend of my mothers and was expecting a "typical" car anything ive ever felt the need to take the time to write. I was referred to Papas dodge by a friend of my mothers and was expecting a "typical" car dealership/salesman experience. Typical meaning the pushy, rushed, and mostly unaccommodating air that some car salesmen seem to have, as if your just another "sale". Another concern is getting the best deal. There’s no worse feeling than realizing you were caught up in the moment and could have found a better deal elsewhere. None of this applies to Papas Dodge, not even close. With no exaggeration let me tell you as a less than 30yr old female buying her first brand new car I couldn’t have been more at ease and relieved. I worked with Gary Cwikla in the Sales dept. and AJ Maida (My contact of a family friend). I was impressed right off the bat because Gary didn’t waste my time coaxing me into a car that I had no interest in, he listened to exactly what I wanted and got me that and MORE. Having done all my research on fair market value and KBB I was prepared for the typical "haggle". Never happened, I was given beyond fair pricing without any pushing on any of the extras I didnt want. Gary and AJ dealt with me (I feel) as if I were a niece or daughter, very genuinely to say the least. On Saturday I test drove a model similar to the one I would be buying since mine was in the showroom. The test-drive went great and I was excited with the idea of purchase so we got the ball rolling. Jeff Juaire handled all of my financials in a very speedy, personal and professional manner as my credit was flawed. I was never made to feel embarrassed which is also of great importance since im on a road of credit repair. On Monday Gary called for me to come in and test drive the actual model I purchased as my car was a 4cylinder and mistakenly they test-drove me in a 6cylinder. I initially declined as I knew there wouldn’t be much difference, but they politely insisted. When we were on the new test drive I was so impressed with the integrity Gary had as he recounted his weekend of "worrying I would think he had baited and switched on me". That event right there confirmed everything for me. The purchase price was better than I could have gotten anywhere else (researched!) I was never pushed or manipulated, I am so at ease with my purchase, and I have no worries that if a problem arises soon or years down the road that it will be handled with no issue. My job requires a high amount of travel and a car/dealership is vital to have a good relationship with as I will probably need them more than the average driver. So please believe me when I say I’m happy to be part of the Papas Dodge family and can’t thank my new "Uncles" Gary and AJ enough and I can’t wait to work with you guys again!! My expectations were exceeded ten-fold and I have recommended you to everyone I know, I can’t thank you enough!! Your "niece", Keri More
