7 hours into a 10 hour trip to visit family for Christmas the service engine light on our Kia came on and the car went it to limp mode, not being able to accelerate over 2000 rpm’s or go faster than 60 due t the service engine light on our Kia came on and the car went it to limp mode, not being able to accelerate over 2000 rpm’s or go faster than 60 due to the knock sensor recall on the motor. We managed to make it to the nearest town with a Kia dealership. And…. Paramount Kia of Hickory saves Christmas! After what we thought would turn into a rental car situation due to having an issue that had to be addressed specifically by a Kia dealership, and being told it would be 1-2 weeks before they could even look at it that night (the service dept was already closed for the evening), trying to figure out how we’d get back to Alabama and then back to Hickory to get it…we pulled in this morning at 8:30, and thanks to the compassion of the service manager Aaron— here we are just over an hour later we are back on the road! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More
My husband and I have been a Paramount Kia customer since 2007 when we purchased our first KIA. It is still running and has been passed on to another family member who needed a car. It has close to 200,000 2007 when we purchased our first KIA. It is still running and has been passed on to another family member who needed a car. It has close to 200,000 miles on it. We purchased a 2016 Sorrento in 2017. Unfortunately, the engine had to be replaced, but we were treated like royalty during that process. They quickly handled getting us a rental and handled the replacement engine quickly. Now we are purchasing a 2021 Sorrento due to my hitting a deer recently and our insurance totaling the 2016 Sorrento Tanner Dalton was my representative at the dealership and he answered all of my questions and I couldn't have been more satisfied. From Tanner to the Financial person both were very gracious and helped me. I left with a new (to me) car. Thank you. More
