My wife and I just bought a Acura RDX. The salesperson was Tim Sechrest. This is the second car that we have bought from Tim within a year. Scratches, No price match Tires, Not Clean I am very unhappy with this dealership. I have spent almost 3K in the last two months on my son's car which we bought off the preowned lot. First as they advertise they would not match tire prices. Secondly both times I took in June and July my car had scratches all over the trunk hood and sides of the car and this time when I picked up a deep gauge scratch was on it. My son passed away and I kept the car up and am keeping it for sentimental reasons. David McDavid in Plano knows this as I have had the car serviced there since my son passed away. They sent me coupons for work to be done I used them. I went to pick up the car this am and they tried to overcharge me, but had my estimate so they fixed the price and the amount dropped over $150. Then I found more scratches. I spoke with the director who stated they would fix the scratches so I agreed. Got in my car and it had not been vacuumed or cleaned as promised with the coupon. The car was still dirty outisde and on top by the moon roof. I am so unhappy. My money and this car is just as good as anyone else but for some reason they will not work with you even tho their advertising says differently and the service people promise that they looked at the car and all is good? In good faith I believed them. I was wrong. Would not recommend the service department here in Plano. More

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience buying a car ever. Horrible customer service and nonstop problems with the dealership. My temporary plates have been expired for 2 weeks and dealership still won’t give us a straight answer on how they will solve the issue. It’s been 2 months since we’ve purchased the car and it wasn’t until last week they told us why they can’t give us our plates. You would think they’d sell a car with everything done, which is exactly what they told us and gave us a paper stating. Talked to 5 people within the week and still haven’t solved the issue and giving us attitude and problems with getting it solved. Sotero was very pushy with buying the car but after it was purchased he went ghost, not answering phone calls or texts. When he does, he acts like he doesn’t know what we are talking about and cuts the phone call short. The dealership also ran my credit through a different bank without my permission, which affected my credit, when the bank I gave them permission to worked just fine. That’s just the 2 big issues, not even mentioning the smaller ones that’s wrong with this dealership. Never had so many problems with a dealership, especially a big one like this. Save your money and shop somewhere else that actually cares, would never recommend David McDavid Acura again. More

I had an excellent and bad experience at the same time. I went to the dealership on a Saturday and I receive an excellent experience from every single person who approached me a soon as I walk in. I went there just basically to have a look in-person to a particular brand new vehicle, I was helped by an awesome individual who answered all of my questions and in fact, he motivates me to go ahead and test drive the same exact vehicle I was looking to get but in a different color combo. I was definitely so excited after that, but then the only issue I had was that I was looking for another color combo that was not available there. I provide all the details of the exact car, color combo, etc I really wanted (including the dealerships around the area who have it in stock). The individual who was really kind helping me told me that their "Internal System" was down so he couldn't contact any other partner dealership to be able to check and get that car for me. I leave my contact information and everything and they told me that once the "Internal System" gets back "Online" they will reach out to me which never happen, it's been more than two weeks for sure and I never hear back from them, which I was surprised on how could that be even possible, especially that I was looking to buy a brand new vehicle that cost over $45K+. As the title of this review states "I had an excellent and bad experience at the same time". More
