P I noticed that there are some positive reviews; unfortunately, these customers are oblivious to the fact that they have been completely ripped off. Please spare yourself of stress and read this review in its entirety before choosing Park Place Bodywerks for your vehicle repairs. On the morning of October 10th, I had an accident which damaged my front bumper, hood and grill. I called my insurance and had my vehicle towed to Park Place Bodywerks, since my vehicle was purchased from Park Place Lexus. When I arrived at Bodywerks, Chase was assigned as my advisor. They asked me to sign some documents to initiate the “teardown” and estimate the cost of the repair. Initially, Chase told me they “prefer to use OEM parts”. Chase promised to price-match OEM parts with Lexus in case the insurance does not cover OEM parts. He also told us that we may have to pay “$50 to S200 maximum out of our pockets if we choose to use OEM parts.” After 3 to 4 days, he called to inform me that the insurance would not cover all the costs of using OEM parts and that the difference is almost $1700. This quote seemed unreasonably high so I decided to look into it. The quote Chase sent me for the total cost of just the OEM parts was over $10000. I looked up the price of the parts online though Lexus’s website (using the exact part numbers Chase provided) and found out I could have saved $2000 from his quote if I just bought them myself! I could only imagine how much THEY truly pay for these parts if any online customer could save this much. Upon hearing this quote, I asked them to talk to our insurance to handle the matter as they state they normally do. They went back and forth with my insurance for a few more days and finally arrived at a quote of about $1200, far more than the “$50 to $200”. We attempted to resolve conflict ourselves between our insurance and Chase of Park Place BodyWerks, an extremely stressful situation we should NOT have been in the middle of. Our insurance representative did his absolute best to work with Chase, but he stopped responding to messages, emails, or phone calls from our insurance. 3 weeks have passed, and we decided to get into contact with Chase’s manager, Brandon as a last resort to resolve these issues. Brandon also dodged our calls and when we finally got into contact, he told us he is aware of our situation and stated “You have to understand one thing. We are in the business of making money. We cannot help you in any way.” We were appalled by the deceit, rudeness, terrible communication, and complete disregard of customers shown by the employees of Park Place Bodywerks. We finally decided to take our vehicle elsewhere for repairs. Bitter Chase vindictively came up with additional fee of $1800 for 3 weeks of vehicle storage and disassembly. We discovered at the new collision center that nothing was even disassembled except the bumper! Please take your vehicle elsewhere if you do not want to be taken advantage of, lied to, ignored, and severely overcharged! If you want evidence that what I have stated about Park Place Bodywerks is the truth, contact me!None of this is exaggerated in the slightest. More
WORST repair experience ever Took over 47 days to repair my LEXUS (Paint Scratch on Quarter Panel) where as by the books it should not have taken more than 18 days. Michael was Took over 47 days to repair my LEXUS (Paint Scratch on Quarter Panel) where as by the books it should not have taken more than 18 days. Michael was impossible to get a hold of and would never return my calls. They damaged an Aftermarket installed accessory on my vehicle and refused to replace it, citing that the damage was not their responsibility. Also put a scratch under the passenger side rocker panel. If you are reading this, my advice to you would be to STAY AWAY FROM PARK PLACE BODY WERKS, and take your business somewhere else. More
Unprofessional Been working with Greg C for a couple of months now. Upon receiving the estimate from insurance I received a very unprofessional response and was ask Been working with Greg C for a couple of months now. Upon receiving the estimate from insurance I received a very unprofessional response and was asked to wait two weeks before bringing the vehicle in. When I finally brought the vehicle in Greg left for lunch without getting the vehicle in and without setting up a rental even though I told him when we were going to be there. The insurance and Greg could not come to an agreement even though the insurance company raised what they were offering to pay for repairs there was no budging from Par Place Body Werx. I now have to go through my insurance and pay my deductible on top of all the time lost due to their incompetence. More

There was a little back and forth with State Farm over a new or used fender, which was ultimately resolved by the Body Shop team. The repairs look excellent and should we find ourselves needing further repairs, we'll be back! More
Greg was recommended by my insurance company. From the moment I walked in the door Greg took complete car of me and my car - he renegotiated with my insurance company when additional repairs were needed. moment I walked in the door Greg took complete car of me and my car - he renegotiated with my insurance company when additional repairs were needed. I got amazing email updates during every step of the way and Greg and the entire team were the ultimate professionals and took very good care of my car. I would highly recommend Park Place body shop should you ever be in the unfortunate position of needing body work done on your automobile. Park place offers full service from having an in- house car rental location to the welcoming atmosphere of the lobby and complimentary beverages while you wait. When you buy a luxury car you expect a certain level of customer service and Park Place more than met my expectations. More
I have never experienced such poor delivery from a body shop. It took over 15 days to fix my rear bumper that had minor paint damage. I purchased a 2013 Mercedes and was given a gold impala. Where is the p shop. It took over 15 days to fix my rear bumper that had minor paint damage. I purchased a 2013 Mercedes and was given a gold impala. Where is the prestige that they uphold? I certainly don't not attribute a gold impala by any means prestigious. Nevertheless, when I received my vehicle I realized my $150 sunglasses and $80 bottle of cologne are now missing. Their rebuttal was I should have removed all valuables from my vehicle. Well let me say this, if your company culture is all about customer service, then apparently I am missing something here. Worst experience ever! More
Totally Professional Process and Excellent Repair Totally Professional Process and Excellent Repair Accident free for 24 years and then two accidents in different vehicles in two months. Sooner or Totally Professional Process and Excellent Repair Accident free for 24 years and then two accidents in different vehicles in two months. Sooner or later your number will come up and sooner or later you'll be glad you chose Park Place Bodywerks. My first visit was for the repair of a Mercedes-Benz SL 500. This is my dream car that only gets driven on weekends and special occasions. So if you have a love for your car like I have, then you can imagine how important it is to take it to the right repair facility. Your insurance company will try to persuade you to take your car to one of their "approved" repair facilities. But in Texas, you have the right to take your vehicle to whomever you feel will do the best job in restoring it to manufacturer specifications using approved manufacturer parts. With out a doubt, for me, this was Park Place. This facility is manufacturer approved for repairing a Mercedes-Benz as well as probably a dozen other luxury makes... check their website as they list which manufacturer's have certified their facilities. I think I remember seeing that they have received some awards too. During my repair my advisor Brandon Gillespy called and emailed me as my car made it through the repair process, and he was professional with every interaction. He comes highly recommended. His attention and responsiveness gave me the assurance I needed to feel comfortable that my cherished Benz was on its way to recovery. And if you can't wait for the update, they also have a "track your vehicle" system on their website where you can check-in to see the progress at any time. I didn't tell them, but I checked in regularly. Before I knew it my car was ready, I think it was about just over a week. When I showed up to pick-up the car it was in "as new" condition - you couldn't tell anything had ever happened. My thanks for a job well done was bringing in my BMW 550i a month later. And again a stellar job - as good as new. Thank you so much Park Place Bodywerks and Brandon Gillespy for jobs well done - and for your professionalism along the way. I wouldn't trust anyone else to my luxury vehicles. More
Do not trust Park Place Porsche. I allowed my car to Do not trust Park Place Porsche. I allowed my car to be repaired there after an accident. I specifically told the service contact (Antwon) and the Do not trust Park Place Porsche. I allowed my car to be repaired there after an accident. I specifically told the service contact (Antwon) and the insurance adjuster at the same time, that the convertible top had been left open for three days in the rain by the tow company. I told them to pay attention to the stereo and navigation system. Park Place returned the car to me with a broken stereo and navigation system, the driver door does not shut properly, and there was a blemish in the leather of the steering wheel. Then while attempting to fix the aforementioned problems, they damaged my steering wheel and returned the car with yet another problem. I brought it to their attention and they accused me of causing the damage. The Twin Turbo Conv. 911 in question gets driven maybe one day a week to take my daughter to school and then back home where it gets parked in its own garage. The car was in no one’s custody other than mine… I did not damage my steering wheel. It is obvious with close inspection that it was damaged by some hard sharp object due to a crease in the soothe surface. The damage was noticed after they had worked on the steering wheel in the area where the airbag was replaced. Yet, Paul Chadwick (Body Shop Mgr.) insisted that I was at fault and had damaged my steering wheel. I immediately went to the Park Place Porsche service area where I met with Jenny Drummund (super nice Service Mgr.). I ask the name of the Gen. Mgr. and to speak with him. I was told that it was Patrick Houston (Gen. Mgr.) and he was busy. I left my name and number at 10:30am on Tues. June 11, 2013, which was relayed to him as verified by Jenny. In the meantime, I made contact with my insurance adjuster. He emailed all the photos of the area of the steering wheel in question, that I allegedly marred and damaged after the stellar Park Place Porsche service repair. You can easily discern a mar / gouge on the steering wheel after the airbag repair. (photo {d56c3a57-1b7d-402c-8a57-5fe7f1e8d82f}.jpeg) The photo was taken previous to the car being delivered to me after the initial repair. I simply did not catch the additional mistake in Park Place Porsche repair quality. My attention was focused on my door not shutting correctly and the stereo and navigation system not working. It is fair and reasonable to believe that the steering wheel was damaged during the airbag repair. I called to verify before writing this that Jenny did indeed deliver the message to Patrick Houston. Jenny answered in the affirmative, for the second time, that she did deliver the message. Sorry to pester Jenny. As of close of business Thur. June 13, 13, I have not received a return call and my steering wheel goes on blemished and scraping my hand if I drive that car. I wrongly had the expectation of a higher standard in the treatment of my Porsche by Park Place Porsche dealership than that of my Toyota and Chevy dealers. The service is better at the Toyota and Chevy dealers I use for repair work on other cars our family own. I really expected more quality and professionalism from a Porsche dealer. Park Place Porsche has fallen down on the job on really mundane tasks that were stated in advance as well as after work. Anyone can make a mistake, but to wrongly blame the client (Ref. Photo pre-client delivery) and do a bad job, takes the fun out of Porsche ownership. Park Place Porsche did a bad job repairing my car. The fun of owning a Porsche has been blemished by Park Place Porsche. How can you trust the critical / structural part of the repair when they have such little regard in obvious areas of car repair. Save time and aggravation by doing business at a non-Park Place owned dealership. They pay lip service but do not seem to have integrity. KB More
