Hi, Felix- we hear your concerns and completely understand your frustrations. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we continue to make improvements in our body shop processes and communications. Our goal is to repair every vehicle per manufacturer guidelines, which includes using OEM parts for all repairs to ensure the vehicle leaves our shop adhering to both Park Place and OEM standards of excellence. We work directly with the insurance company and thus cannot provide a fully accurate cost difference until the negotiations have been completed. Fin Tech, We understand your frustrations and appreciate your feedback. After speaking with the dealership team, we learned that the length of the repair time was due to the fact that the team was waiting on your insurance company to approve the repairs. You would not allow us to proceed with your wheel repair until day 44 because you were trying to get your insurance company to cover the replacement. Your insurance company admitted fault for the delay and paid for your rental vehicle for all 47 days. We performed repairs on the left side of your vehicle, and were not made aware of repairs that were required for the passenger side panel. Additionally, the aftermarket part you cite was installed in an area where our service technicians did no work. Additionally, your insurance company has reimbursed you for the use of the rental car during the repair process. We wish you the best.

Mr. Ramirez, as Greg warned you at the dealership, the person who ran into you has sub-standard insurance, and thus their insurance company would not work with us to give us the necessary parts and labor rates for your repair. We do apologize that the process has taken some time, but we were scheduling you to come in around the time that Greg was out of office. Your own insurance carrier should be better able to cover the necessary repairs, parts, and rental vehicle needed. If there is anything further that you need, please do not hesitate to contact us.
