I am filing this complaint regarding my experience with Park Place Volvo of Dallas after purchasing a used 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan in January 2026. The day I purchased the vehicle, my son drove it home w Park Place Volvo of Dallas after purchasing a used 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan in January 2026. The day I purchased the vehicle, my son drove it home without issue. The following day, he drove a short distance to McDonald’s and back home. After that, the vehicle would not start again. From the time the vehicle was purchased to the time it became inoperable, it had been driven less than 80 miles. We live approximately 60 miles south of Dallas, so dealing with this issue has been extremely difficult. I immediately tried contacting the sales representative, who initially told me she would speak with the sales manager. After that, all communication stopped. My calls and follow-ups have gone unanswered since January, and it is now June. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had it inspected by three different repair shops. The vehicle is currently at a European specialty repair facility and has been there for over seven weeks. The technicians informed me the vehicle has extensive water damage, including corroded wiring connectors that appear to be causing the electrical failures. They also had to remove the driver’s seat and pull up the carpet because of moisture and mold concerns inside the vehicle. What is most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability and customer service from Park Place Volvo. One employee even told me I “should have purchased the warranty.” My concern is not about an extended warranty — it is about being sold a vehicle with serious undisclosed water damage that became unusable almost immediately after purchase. Park Place Volvo promotes itself as a premier dealership with exceptional customer service, but my experience has been the opposite. I believe consumers deserve to know about situations like this before doing business with this dealership. I am requesting that Park Place Volvo of Dallas take responsibility for this matter and provide a fair resolution. More

Impressive operation, good inventory, great and responsive communication, and capable and invested sales people. Low pressure environment that lends itself to a pleasant buying experience.
