Despite being off that day, she made sure everything was ready for us in the morning and even came into the dealership to help get the deal done. The finance team worked us a great rate and we drove away happy in our fantastic new XC90. More

Ryan Killough and Park Place Volvo I was searching online from Houston for a preowned Lexus LX570 and came across one at park place Volvo in Dallas. I called up about the vehicle and sp I was searching online from Houston for a preowned Lexus LX570 and came across one at park place Volvo in Dallas. I called up about the vehicle and spoke to Ryan Killough, who was really pleasant and knowledgeable. Since I live in Houston I did not want to take a chance on the long drive to Dallas to see the vehicle without having a good idea of the condition. Ryan went above and beyond on the information and pictures I requested of the vehicle, from the undercarriage, tires, interior, even sending me videos of the vehicle running. He also took it on a test drive on the highway himself. I felt confident that it would be worth the drive up there. The next day I rented a car in Houston and took my wife and 2 kids to park place Volvo and Ryan was there to greet us and had the vehicle detailed and pulled up front already. Needless to say the vehicle was excellent as Ryan had already shown me basically everything via text the day before. Ryan was very easygoing and kind to my wife and kids, and even though it was the day before thanksgiving and was getting late, he did not rush anything and helped with the financial side of the deal, which was causing some delays on my side due to my credit union. I would like to give a huge thanks to Ryan and Park Place Volvo, and would highly recommend them to anyone. We have had the Lexus LX570 for over a week now and we love it. Thanks again! More

Brian Marsh is great! Brian was very helpful from the time I called that morning to make sure the car had the features I wanted to the time I signed my paperwork. Although the dealership was busy on a Saturday, everyone checked in with me offering drinks and snacks. He also found another key and went the extra mile to make sure I got it. No hassle sales Park Place Volvo was our first stop the day we went to purchase a vehicle for my wife. We told the salesman, Dave Ramsey, that we wanted to go look a Park Place Volvo was our first stop the day we went to purchase a vehicle for my wife. We told the salesman, Dave Ramsey, that we wanted to go look at other vehicles before making a decision. He did not pressure us one bit. My wife and I both new that we would be back to purchase a XC90 when we left the lot. We were back within 2 hours. Dave was the only person we had to deal with during the entire process, which was refreshing. No other vehicle compared to Volvo. We would definitely recommend Dave and Volvo. More

On Aug 2nd I was rear ended, my beautiful Q50 S declared a total lost, which caused me to look for a new car. I did my research and it came between BMW, Volvo and Tesla. I test drove them all and decided I liked the Volvo S90 Hybrid the best. It also helped Costco sent me an email indicating I would get preferred pricing with Volvo until 10/2 as well as a Costco Cash Card. Joe Barbee who is the sales manager made the first contact with me. He asked me to come in and work with a new car sales person. When I came in, the new car sales person was busy with another customer and Joe was not there so I left. I returned a few days later to find Joe; who reluctantly helped me. I assume he wanted me to work with the floor sales guy. We test drove the car and I just got a sense that Joe is a run of the mill sales person. He didn't make a connection with me as his customer... he followed his test drive script, which was dry and not engaging. He didn't try to drill down into who I am, what I like and make sure the car met my needs. I just ignored it, he may not like his job or was having a bad day but I knew it was the car I wanted and could ignore all the dryness to get what I wanted. After the test drive we walked around the lot and I told him exactly what I wanted: color, engine, and packages. A day passed and Joe told me he secured my car and needed my financial information and deposit, which I readily gave him. Once finance approved me, Joe then let me know that the car was reserved for another customer. For me that was strike 1. I felt as if he just wanted to see if finance would approve me. I understand I am a non traditional customer but these days you cannot look at a person and determine their ability to afford anything. Its call IT! We are young and successful :) He should have told me that the car was reserved prior to asking for financial information. In this instance he was trying to secure me as a customer but did so in the wrong way. Days go by, e-mails and phone calls not returned by Joe and I decide to go out of my way and show up at the dealership. Joe was not present but the New Car Sales director Germaine assisted me and it was with Germaine that I discovered Joe had been trying to secure the wrong color car. I was shocked. I am detailed when I make request as I have to be detailed when managing IT projects. Tell a computer system blue and it will only search for blue. Tell Joe you want blue and he looks for white. I was flabbergasted, what do I do? I attempted to give them 1 more chance... they were trying to secure a car that had all the features I wanted without the hybrid engine. I test drove it and again listened to Joe's same test drive script that I am sure he has used with every customer. While test driving the care, It dawned on me it would be better I wait and get what I wanted. The is car is not cheap and I am not in the habit of buying something that does not have everything I want. I can't settle for less, just so you can make a sale. To date, I have requested that my deposit be returned. I've yet to get a response from the email sent to Joe. I will again go out of my way and show up at the dealership to try to get my deposit. Its very upsetting, its been two months. 1 1/2 of which was spent looking for the wrong car. My Costco incentive has expired and I am still without the car I wanted. For me its best I move on and hope that no one has the same unfortunate experience I have had working with Park Place Volvo. Why the two stars? Germaine was very helpful, affable and could tell what type of customer I was and was willing to go out his way for me. I also liked that everyone is professional and friendly when your inside the store. More
