THE SERVICE RE ITERALLY WORK ACROSS FROM YOUR DEALERSHIP. i HAD A CHECK ENGINE LITE COME ON SAYING THE CHARGING DYSTEM NEEDED ATTENTION. I LEFT IT. THE SERVICE REP CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES. IN ONE OF THOSE CALLS, HE SAID THAT LITE CAME ON WHEN IT WAS FIRST STARTED. IT DID NOT COME ON AGAIN, I DID MY OWN RESEARCH (?!?) AND FOUND THERE ARE SEVERAL "DIODES? ON THE ALTERNATOR. iF ONE WAS WEAK, AND THE CAR WAS NOT DRIVEN EVERY DAY WHICH IT IS NOT, ONCE IT IS DRIVEN IT BECOMES CHARGED. I CALLED THE SERVICE REP, AND LO AND BEHOLD, WAS TOLD I NEEDED A ?NEW" ALTERNATOR! A CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TELL A MECHANIC WHAT'S WRONG. i PAID THE BILL AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER. THE LADY SAID, HE WAS BUSY". I DEMANDED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, AT THAT MOMENT. I MET WITH A MANAGER AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED. HIS FIRST RESPONSE WAS TOP SPEAK FROM A CANNED SPEECH, HE WAS SORRY TOU DID NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS. THIS ONLY ADDED TO MY FRUSTRATION. I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT I SAID, IN RESPONSE, BUT OUR MEETING ABRUPTLY ENDED. AS I WAS WALKING OUT THE FRONT DOOR, HE WAS WALKING TO THE SERVICE BAYS. THE FIRST JOB I HAS A SIGN. I purchase a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer online from Parks Kernersville, listed as a certified GM used car, bought this car for my son, after 2 weeks of driving it he checked the engine oil level and there wa Kernersville, listed as a certified GM used car, bought this car for my son, after 2 weeks of driving it he checked the engine oil level and there was no oil on the dipstick, we jacked the front of the car up so we could look for oil leaks and noticed there was numerous cracks around the bolt flange of the plastic oil pan, engine oil was dripping from the cracks. We contacted the online salesman and the General Sales manager, both assured us that their people would never miss that during their inspection before listing it for sale. They suggested that we drive 90 miles and bring the car back to them so they could determine who is at fault and if GM warranty will cover the cost. This ordeal has been a nightmare for me and my son, we finally found a dealership in Charlotte that agreed to replace the plastic oil pan and paid for by GM warranty. The online salesman was a nice person to deal with, the general sales manger was not. Words of wisdom, do not buy a used car online from this dealership without inspecting it really close. More
