Does not stand behind their own work The buying experience was great, the service department on the other hand is terrible. My TPMS sensors stopped working immediately after my 5k service The buying experience was great, the service department on the other hand is terrible. My TPMS sensors stopped working immediately after my 5k service. The 5k service itself was terrible, it took over 4 hours, with an appointment. On my way home from this terrible service trip my tpms sensors stopped working. I immediately reached out to the Service Director Toby Clark (tclark@toyotaofmckinney.com) to tell him what was going on. He said I would have to bring it in to be looked at. After spending 4 hours at the dealership with my wife I said I would bring it in for the 10k service. Now Toyota of McKinney does not want to back their work and is saying this isn't a warranty issue. Of course it isn't why would Toyota pay for something your dealership broke. I am now getting the run around and being told this is because I changed my tires over 4000 miles before my 5k service. The TPMS sensors worked the entire time. Stand by your peoples work. More

I thought I could get a decent price by driving an hour and only to get nothing. They even threw my decent offer to trash. Second time got there only to know the truck already sold, wasting time. Go somewhere else, avoid this deceiving place. More

I spoke to Rachael prior to making an appointment. We negotiated a price and set a time to come in. Upon arriving, Rachael was not there and they assigned us a new salesman. After looking at the car that we spoke about. Abe brings us an invoice way over what I was quoted stating that the other vehicle was sold. They completely baited and switched us!!!! Then Abe had the nerve to say they didn’t do anything wrong. We drove all the way out there in good faith. More
Deceptive advertising practices I received a coupon via email for "synthetic major service maintenance" for 199.95. It included oil and filter change, air filter change, replace engine coolant, inspect belts and hoses, complete brake inspection, inspect transmission fluid, lube chassis, road test “and more”. I called and spoke to Jon Parker and told him I wanted that special. He made the appointment. When I showed up for the appointment, he said that email was a "mistake", he'd seen other people come in with it, but he can't honor that price. Everything listed in the coupon would be over $500. I was told by James Wood "obviously we can't help you". Excuse me, I’m not asking for “help” I’m asking you to honor the coupon that YOU sent out. I live over an hour away. I would not have made the trip today if Jon Parker had been honest on the phone yesterday. He knew exactly what I was asking for and never once said the coupon I referred to would not be honored. He knew it was not correct because he'd seen other people come in with it, as he told me this morning. Therefore I can only assume this was done on purpose. They should have immediately sent an email stating the previous one with the coupon was in error. Not doing so, and not stating that when the appointment was made, is FRAUD. Fraud and terrible customer service. I have been bringing my car there for almost a year, and I put a lot of miles on it so I need service fairly often. But "obviously" I will never bring my car here again. More
An awful experience I bought a pre owned Lexus 350 ES with 18K miles on it from this dealership just over a week ago now. One week after purchasing the car the "check engine" light came on. The first thing I did was to reach out to my sales rep Rodney who sold me the car. His response to me was "you bought the car as is. There is nothing that we can do." I proceeded to take the vehicle to Park Place Lexus (great dealership that treats their customers well) where they informed me that they found a rats nest under the engine cover and that the repair would cost me $500 and was not covered under the warranty. After going back and forth with two others at Lobb's Toyota, including their General Manager, I was told again that they are in no way responsible for the car that I had just purchased from them and that they were UNWILLING to do anything to make the situation right (not even a few free oil changes to help offset the cost). Apparently, during their rigorous "inspection" that they do on all of their pre owned vehicles, they didn't come across the RATS NEST that was under the hood of my car. The vehicle that I traded in to them was also parked in my garage for several years and has never had an issue with rodent damage, my wife's car either. Lobb's Toyota claims that the damage must have come from my own home during the seven nights that I've had the car. IF I COULD GIVE THESE PEOPLE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE xxxxxxxx. THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR INTEGRITY. More
Replace Coil on #2 Cylinder/2000 Tundra I bought my 2000 Tundra new in August 1999. Keep it in tip top shape always. Had emergency 11-15-2018/Monday after starting Tundra. Running rough & en I bought my 2000 Tundra new in August 1999. Keep it in tip top shape always. Had emergency 11-15-2018/Monday after starting Tundra. Running rough & engine check light came on. I had to take my Wife to an appointment at UT Southwestern Hospital in Dallas, Tx for followup on a recent surgery. I called Justin Ryan, Service Mgr at Pat Lobb Toyota in McKinney, Tx. Justin gave me a loaner vehicle at no cost while my Tundra was being repaired by my always go to Senior Certified Master Tech, Jeff Colefield. The #2 Cylinder Coil (8 Cylinder Engine) had malfunctioned and needed replacing. These 2 people who I always depend on when any of my vehicles need repairing, came to my rescue in this emergency situation. It was a great stress relief knowing I could depend on them to meet my vehicle repair needs. Thanks so much Justin Ryan & Jeff Colefield More

Mr. Santos Perez was very helpful, attentive to every single detail in our visit/service. He was well informed and answered all our questions. Because we believe he is one of your best Toyota employees, in our opinion, Toyota should be very proud of having him as one of its employees. I sincerely hope this message is given to him, from us, and sincerely wish him all the best in his career. Thank You. (we are the owners of a 2017 Toyota Camry and a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, both bought at your delearship in 2017) More
From Good to BAD! I purchased a 4 runner from from this dealership and the experience was great. The salesperson and overall experience was truly good. However, I re I purchased a 4 runner from from this dealership and the experience was great. The salesperson and overall experience was truly good. However, I referred my daughter to them and the sales person, she also wanted a 4 runner. Not a good experience for my daughter, she was treated very poor. When the deal funded and she picked up the car they handed her the keys and said good-bye. She later found out she had no floor mats. and called them back and they said they were not included. My wife called the GM and after a long debate, she finally got them to give her the mats. When she picked them up, they were used and tattered and smelled really bad, they were obviously used. I cannot fathom that a dealership would run the risk of a bad experience over a set of $80 floor mats. I am perplexed and disappointed. My advice STAY AWAY FROM PAT LOBB TOYOTA. More
