The buying experience was outstanding in every respect, as were all of the staff members. The only disappointment I felt was when during delivery I received my new vehicle with less than a quarter's tank as were all of the staff members. After spending the kind of money I did, it was a bit disheartening to have to stop on my way home and spend over $50 to fill the fuel tank. I had an unfortunate experience at the first car dealership I visited to buy a Kia so I was very skeptical when I went to McGrath. Had good experience six months ago when we purchased a 2012 Lacrosse from Mark Newhouse for my husband. So decided to go back to him last week when the motor locked up in the 2010 Ford Fusion. Mark was good to work with in that transaction and we wanted to look at the new Verona for me. So I called Mark back and told him our situation. We met him at 11:30 am Saturday and left the proud owners of another Buick product -- a bright red 2012 Verona at 1:55 pm -- again on the same day. Mark's trustworthy; he doesn't play games so you feel like you're dealing with him at all times (like he's working the best deal he can for you and the dealer too). I'm sure he has guidelines he must follow but he knows them as well as his product so he doesn't run to "papa" every time we ask a question. If he had, it would be a waste of our time and his as well -- and probably would have cost him the sale which he knew from the last time when we walked away from the purchase at Dreery Motors in Iowa City. Instead he got another cash sale on a $28,000 vehicle -- and we drove away feeling good about it too!! More
