Tried to scam me out of $500, but I knew too much about cars I brought my A4 in for a major warranty claim and had to show records of maintenance done by a non-Audi shop. I could tell they were not thrilled abou I brought my A4 in for a major warranty claim and had to show records of maintenance done by a non-Audi shop. I could tell they were not thrilled about that and lo and behold, they tell me the outside shop (that my family has used for years with absolutely no issues) stripped the oil drain plug, requiring a new oil pan. However, knowing the tests that were run, I knew Paul Miller Audi would actually have been the last ones to drain the oil from the car (Audi corp. also confirmed the tests Paul Miller ran would have required draining the oil, as did another Audi tech I was able to speak with through a mutual friend). When I called them out on it, both the dealership and Paul Miller changed their stories, but neither aligned. Then their stories conflicted on the cost of the oil pan and whether it included labor (the dealership said it did, which it shouldn't have because the part was already off the car for the warranty work. Audi corp. said the $475 was for the part alone, even though their own website shows an MSRP on that part of $225). Coincidentally, after calling the dealership out on all their lies, they immediately found another oil pan in the shop from a car with a blown engine and put it on my car free of charge. I didn't buy one bit of that. They tried to scam me as retribution for using an outside shop and I caught them in their web of lies. My car could break down in front of their store on Rt. 46 and I would push it to another dealer. Never again. More
