He really tried to "Hard Sell" an extended maintenance and an extended service plan. He was so aggressive that he became very insulting. He quoted numbers that were not accurate and he just outright lied about the Peacock Lifetime Powertrain and Transmission Dealer Warranty. He claimed that the Peacock Lifetime Powertrain and Transmission Dealer Warranty only applies if you purchase the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. I asked him the same question several different ways to ensure he knew exactly what I was asking. I have an MBA in Finance and Marketing and I have years of experience in sales. This guy was the worst I have ever seen. There is no way I would recommend him to anyone, especially not a wife, or a daughter, or someone's mother. He goes way overboard. I was tempted to walk out of his office and turn my back on the whole deal. I know the warranties are a high profit item, but you are going to damage your reputation with this guy. I think his name was Dewayne. Unfortunately, he is what I will remember about Peacock Ford. More
