But I was proven wrong; this dealer is just average, to say the least, the mistakes made during my deal will keep me away from them. I understand we (people) make mistakes, but for someone like Wade, with years working in this industry, making multiple mistakes on only one deal left me with a terrible taste and experience. Mistakes were I end up being responsible for due to the lack of ethics and ownership of the problem after the deal was complete. I went from driving 28 days with the wrong license plate and registration on my truck and spending about two and a half hours on DMV fixing the problem created by Wade and his team, to being offered three oil change and maintenance during negotiations and not having it honor. The service department was friendly and polite and understood the possibility of another mistake being made and didn't charge me. I did ask to be called back to pay the service done if Wade would deny he didn't provide that in the deal. It is not about the money is about keeping your word! More

They ran my credit 6 times which resulted in me having issues purchasing a car. I called them and they ignored me. I got in touch with a manger and he said that it’s standard practice to get the best rate. No it’s not. Lots of choices out there so please do not visit peacock ford. More

Nice people, subpar service. Great people, subpar service. So, everyone here is polite, respectful, and hears anything you have to say. I was not treated poorly, nobody ever blew me off, and work gets completed timely. At the end of the day however, I'm here to get the vehicle repaired, not to have dinner with the employees, so the service is more important to me than the customer service. I've never really met anyone who is thrilled with the work body shops do, and my experience has been similar. But this experience pissed me off enough to write a review. Peacock Ford had our Fusion for about a week. So, let's cover each individual irritation that led me to my review. I had requested they put our car in a bay for its stay at Ford. Everyone I told this to was extremely friendly and agreed if there was a bay, they would put it in... It was never put in a bay unless work was being done. Which I'm sure is rather standard for what looks like a small collision center to me, but I would have even settled for an open awning rather than underneath trees. Anytime I take our other car to Coggin Ford and it stays multiple nights, they always agree to keep it inside, and it always is. We are rather particular about our vehicle, so keeping it inside helps keep the leather, plastics, paint, etc. nicer longer. And now this Saturday, I get to spend a few hours removing various hard water spots, sap, and some bird crap. Not to mention the swirls I also need to remove from the auto wash they took it through. Neither of the complaints above are a deal breaker for me. They never guaranteed me indoor space, and nowhere does it say they have to. They could have told me about the auto wash, however. I would have happily declined that paint killer. So, while none of those two issues I should really be faulting them for, I bring them up because, what we consider to be our nicer car, would never go to this center for fear of the Fusion's treatment being done to that vehicle. These issues are all reversible, but why would I go back to a place when there's another option that avoid these hassles? Next, there was over spray on the grill. It was the only noticeable spot, since it was a different color than the paint, but I am sure there is over spray on other parts of the vehicle. I brought this up, and they kindly told me it could be wiped off by them. I didn't request it, because I can handle this myself. However again, why not just have had this done before I got the car? Or how about tape it off better so it doesn't happen? Or remove the parts entirely that you don't mean to spray? Not another deal breaker, but quite annoying if you are someone that likes things nearly perfect. Another issue was the interior. I fully understand the mechanics get dirty touching all the parts of a car that are rarely cleaned, but when I reach for the shifter, wheel, or air vent adjustment, and my thumbs and fingers come up black and sticky, that bothers me. When I’m out working on the vehicles and my hands get a bit grimy, I replace my gloves before getting back into my car and touching things. I wish they had the same philosophy. This is not permanent damage, and I will easily be able to clean it, but again, why the xxxx should I have to? But the real issue happened shortly after pickup. I came right around opening, right before I had to be in the office. I signed the papers, walked out to the car, saw the rim wasn't bent in and the fender no longer looked like it was in a trash compactor. With that, I got in and drove off. I quickly noticed I needed fuel and went to change lanes and realized my side mirror was partially pushed in (this matters later). I drove about 10ish miles then parked to fill up. As I filled, I walked to push the mirror back, when I noticed a small scratch (maybe 1/2 inch) across the fender. It was deep enough to see either metal or primer, not sure which. I took a photo, emailed it to the collision center as well as followed up with a call. I was called back and asked to bring it back in. My theory is in their lot someone walked by, bumped the mirror, and scratched the fender. I noticed a guy using a back pack blower to move leaves and grass out of the parking lot, maybe him, I am not sure. Either way, the mirror being moved in like that really had me thinking someone brushed by it in the lot. Isiah understood my frustration, but couldn't judge when the issue occurred, and technically neither could I. He was again respectful and polite, and what I would have wanted him to say is, well let's credit you the cost to paint this. However, he offered a POSSIBLE half off repainting the fender. That would mean another couple day without the car over what is a very small scratch. I said I would think about it, but, when we go to repair this, it will probably just be at another body shop. This is where the deal broke for me. A couple thousand dollars later, and all anyone can do is offer half off getting it repainted? With all the above, and the response to the scratch, no amount of good customer service is going to make me fully accept that resolution. I will probably dispute this with Visa and see what they think. Even if that gets me nowhere, at least it will cause a bit of clerical work on their part. And then at least somebody can share a bit in my frustration… So, if you are one of those that needs your car perfect or at least nearly perfect, I would go elsewhere. Nice people, subpar service.
