paid a service charge for lip service! I bought my Bmw x 5 in for service because it was making a grinding noise I was checking in with chris who asked is that your truck right there I can I bought my Bmw x 5 in for service because it was making a grinding noise I was checking in with chris who asked is that your truck right there I can herar how bad it sounds.....I suggested it may be oil or brakes I waited for the verdict and was told my car was fine and I had to pay a service fee which I had no difficulty doing paid drove off in car only to get home less then 10 miles away my check engine light comes on and I have no oil in my car!!! WHAT!!!! I do not think my car was inspected at all in fact if it was the engine cover was left loose that was the only noticeable difference I called chris to let him know that the inspection missed the fact that I had no oil it took all day to get him by phone I left umteen messages he never returned my calls I had to accidentally catch him because he was standing nearby when I called for him so the person got his attention he didn't even apologize for the fact that I had just left there and they simply took my money sent me away for my engine to burn out now 11/21/2015 my car is overheating and making a noise like it's idled really high it's very loud you can hear it around the corner I'm calling to make a service appointment and the phone is constantly busy or forwarded to some unknown # More

Could Care Less Service This Dealerships Service Department needs an overhaul. I don't think anybody at the Dealership is reading these reviews, so I guess that's why you see so many bad experiences being posted. Let me share my recent experience. I make an appointment to have my Used BMW looked at because the Satellite Radio is not working. I drive into the driveway at 7:50 AM (with an appointment at 7:45am, so I assume people are at work and ready to receive customers). Nobody is outside to greet me. I walk into the service department and there are about 8 people with every service desk occupied. NOBODY says a word to me. I wait a couple of minutes for a young girl to come back from getting her morning coffee to check me in. The check in area is literarily 5 feet away from the service representatives (so why do you need someone that is 5 feet away from were you will end up anyway. A waste of time and money. I guess thats why they have to charge so much for their lack of service) I sit down with the representative (that by the way I saw 5 days earlier and she didn't even recognize me) Her attitude is like I really don't want to be here and I could care less if I do anything for you today. I ask how long will it take for them to look at my car because I would like to wait on it. Well at first she hesitates and says I really don't know. I press for more information and then she says well I will check with the technician. She gets up goes in the back. She returns and states that it could be all day and that the technician will have to look all over the car to find whats wrong and that it will be $270 to JUST LOOK AT MY CAR? That is outrageous! So I leave and the rep. says ok see you later (I don't know where she learned her service skills, but if you want to retain customers you would at least say I am sorry and is there anything else we could do to work this out) Well later that day I go to BestBuy to have them to look at my problem. Not only did they not charge me anything, they found the area where the radio is located (back drivers side in trunk. I took about 2 minutes to find everything we needed to assess my situation and EVERYTHING IS RIGHT THERE, NOT ALL OVER MY CAR) So as you can see charging $270 to find something that the DEALERSHIP should know where it is and telling me it would take several hours to access is REDICULAS! I will never go back to Peake BMW and I will never refer anyone to them! More
Really makes you not want your Beamer. I've had my BMW for 2 years. Purchased it pre-certified from Baton Rouge even though I live in New Orleans just to avoid this dealership. However, who I've had my BMW for 2 years. Purchased it pre-certified from Baton Rouge even though I live in New Orleans just to avoid this dealership. However, who wants to drive an hour one way for basic service: enter peake again. I've brought it to peake for routine service 3 times and each visit has been worse than previous. Issues: - horrid customer service. They tell you vehicle will be ready at a particular time. It rarely is. Difficult to track your agent down. Poor record in retuning phone calls. Etc etc - questionable ethics? I was told car needed xyz service. When I balked at price, agent offered to "work with me". If discounts are available why not offer them upfront. And they should be transparent to all customers. How do I know that the "working with" I'm receiving is equivalent to what others receive. On more than one occasion I was charged for items that were covered under warranty. I had to raise it in order to get them deducted. Really makes me reconsider my ownership of this car. There are other luxury cars in the market one can buy, guys! More
Don't buy from Peak Probably never will drive another BMW Thanks to Peak. After 3 years of dealing with an ever changing service dept., my wife and I picked up our 5 ser Probably never will drive another BMW Thanks to Peak. After 3 years of dealing with an ever changing service dept., my wife and I picked up our 5 series BMW From service center and drove straight to Lexus and traded it in for new vehicle We loved our vehicle and purchased the extended warranty for additional $3000 (Bumber to Bumber) Ha need it to change oil is $600, tires are like $500 Brake job 3000 to 4000 People over there are extremely incompetent, every time I brought it in They tried to charge me and had to remind them of my warranty (3yrs) Once I had it towed in and they lost my car on the lot for 3DAYS. The final straw came when I brought my car in because Tire light came on They already changed seal on oil pan twice and my wife had to add a qt of oil last month, brakes made horrible noise and warranty runs out Nov 10 next month They told me brakes were not scheduled for change yet, needed to replace all 4 tires $2300, bushings needed to be changed and brake pads had to be cut down BUTTT none of it was covered under warranty that he forgot to xx I had and then charged me $135 for diognostics. I told him not to touch that I was picking it up and going trade it in. Then I asked to talk to GM but he asked if I met his Mngr I told him no I wanted to talk to GM He got nervous and left then came back with his managers card who conviently was not there. Even after telling him I wanted the GM Save yourself time and peace of mind Go to Brian Harris BMW in BR if you need one that bad or better yet bu any other car More

We had to pay over $1300 to have them fix our vehicle because it would not start. They initially said that it was the starter but then switched to saying it was a sensor that "was bad." After 3 weeks of driving the car barely starting each time, the car finally stopped starting again. When we brought it in a second time, the lady told us that it was the starter this time and that we would owe $1100 more but that they can work with us on the payment. They had no explanation as to why the starter was the problem because you cannot test the starter to see if it was causing the problem all along. They still made us pay another $700 to have car fixed for a second time in less than a month. So we ended up paying over $2,000 on a 2007 vehicle with 92,000 miles on it just to get the vehicle starting again. After discussing this with other mechanics, they all agreed that it sounded like the starter was always the problem and that they were wrong guessing that the starter was "ok" from the get go. They do not admit to their mistakes in diagnosing problems and didn't help us at all with the payment the second time around because they didn't fix our problem from the very beginning. They said we had two problems but we didnt. We had one problem- the car not starting...and this wasn't fixed after we left the first time even though they said it was. More
The worst car dealer experience ever Peake BMW is the main reason that I will never own another BMW. The service crew would bicker with each other in front of the customers. I was told th Peake BMW is the main reason that I will never own another BMW. The service crew would bicker with each other in front of the customers. I was told that I would have to pay $35.00 a day for a rental car from enterprise because my 2008 x5 with 65,000 miles is out of warranty. They feel that it is ok to take my money for an expensive repair and not provide a loaner vehicle. This dealership does not offer any perks for its customers; and treats its customers as if they should be lucky they are allowed into the building. The quality and customer service at this dealership are both below acceptable levels. Save your sanity and never visit this place. More
It was a huge headache! I took my vehicle for an appraisal at Peake BMW. It was appraised for $23000. I turned over my title and signed purchase order for a 2015 bmw 228i. I took my vehicle for an appraisal at Peake BMW. It was appraised for $23000. I turned over my title and signed purchase order for a 2015 bmw 228i. A week later, the dealer contacted me and said it missed the hail damage during the appraisal and wanted me to pay for the difference of $3500. The sale manager told me since my vehicle was on order, they can go back and re-negotiate the deal. Did this happen to anyone? More
Horrible Overall Peake Experience Purchased my X5 in 2008 as my dream vehicle. While the car 2as under warranty my service experience was great. HOWEVER, after the warranty my service Purchased my X5 in 2008 as my dream vehicle. While the car 2as under warranty my service experience was great. HOWEVER, after the warranty my service experience plummeted. Peake had a wholesal change of service advisors and the experiences got worse. I began having my vehicle serviced at an independent BMW shop a d was pleased with the experience. However, recently i neededwork performed that was best done by an authorized dealership such as Pe ake. I had anticipated about $5k of repairs and reluctantly was willing to have Peake do the work. My service advisor, Richard Enright (service salesman) performed a cursory walk around and stated he could clean my headlights for $250.00 in addition to the scheduled work. I declined and Richard began to treat me like an alien invader instead of a customer. I allowed them to perform the overall vehicle check ($150.00) and authorized about $600.00 of the planned $5K of repairs. With their assessment, I took my X5 to another foreighn car repair shop and was pleasantly surprised by their work. I spoke with tbe owner and he stated thathe gets about 50% of his business from disgruntled peake customers. Also, I asked the Peake team for the customary survey on two separate occassions and have notreceived it yet. PEake wants your money but doesn, t care about how you feel about yourservice experience.
