No longer a fan of Pedder Nissan We have been a customer of Pedder for years. We have two Nissan’s. Yesterday we took our car in to have a minor fix (broken door handle) and regarding We have been a customer of Pedder for years. We have two Nissan’s. Yesterday we took our car in to have a minor fix (broken door handle) and regarding a major engine noise. Despite bringing this same car in before, they seemed not to be able to find the warranty to fix the door. In fact, they told my mom it would be normal wear and tear and wouldn’t be covered. When I called Pedder to find out why it wasn’t covered, I was told I would have to call the warranty company and set things into motion. I did call the warranty company and they were very clear the customer does not call. It did get covered and my door was fixed. Then I was told Pedder couldn’t find anything wrong with the engine. They said that they couldn’t duplicate the noise we were describing. Then when we walked outside with Tom, the car was rattling, shaking, loud and even the license plate was thumping up and down. Tom explained, “Oh that’s just the hybrid engine switching on.” Tom, we have driven this car for 4 years. It’s never done this and it’s not they hybrid engine. We ended up taking the car to a real mechanic and are having it fixed. Do not take your car to Pedder. It once was a quality place but not any longer. More
