I drove all the way down there to look at it, and right off the bat, I noticed a dent in the driver-side rocker panel that was never disclosed to me during the price negotiation. I should’ve walked away, but I went ahead and bought the truck. On my way home, the check engine light came on, and I had to have the truck towed back to the dealership. I had to fight with them just to get them to agree to fix it. Two weeks later, I get a call saying my truck is ready. So I take another day off work, drive several hours back to Longview, and when I get there, they tell me my truck isn’t ready. I had to drive all the way back home to Arkansas without my vehicle. Another two weeks later, they finally deliver the truck to me — and guess what? The check engine light is STILL on. When I called the service manager, instead of owning their mistake, he had the audacity to tell me to take it to my local Chevy dealer to fix it on my own dime and my own time. At this point, I’ve made three trips to Texas, wasted countless hours, and spent my own money dealing with a problem that should’ve been fixed the first time. This dealership has shown me nothing but dishonesty, incompetence, and zero customer care. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from Peltier Ford in Longview, TX. They are happy to take your money but will not stand behind the vehicles they sell. More

Would not honor CARFAX price and salesman stated “The pricing throughout all 3rd party sites do vary sometimes unfortunately.” I chose to walk away. If you allow dealerships like this to get away with it, it encourages them to continue their shady business practices. More
