Incredibly frustrating experience with trying to get my car fixed. Set first appointment and arrived and was told they’re too backed up with other vehicles and to wait 2 weeks and they’d call me back. Went car fixed. Set first appointment and arrived and was told they’re too backed up with other vehicles and to wait 2 weeks and they’d call me back. Went a month and nothing. I reached out and had to schedule another appointment. Then arrived only to be told the same thing that they were too backed up with other vehicles and told it’d be another 2 weeks. Never heard back from the dealership until I had to once again call. Was told it could be awhile. Called Long Beach Buick and got in next day. My car is already being repaired 24 hours later. Thank god my turbo in my engine didn’t completely fail during that 2 months of waiting. More

The service prices for labor is too costly. I'm a female, and Every time I bring my car in it's costly. They used to mail out coupons which was very helpful. Now I get nothing. I just had a bat I'm a female, and Every time I bring my car in it's costly. They used to mail out coupons which was very helpful. Now I get nothing. I just had a battery problem. I paid almost $400 for that service... $209+ tax for the battery and $159 +tax for labor. The sad part is only the dealership can install the battery for my vehicle. More

I brought my car in yesterday because the lift would not stay up when I opened it. Robert came out and checked it and said I would need the whole motor and he would have to get back to me about the price a stay up when I opened it. Robert came out and checked it and said I would need the whole motor and he would have to get back to me about the price and when they would have the parts to fix it. He came back with a price of $1425. I said that was outrageous and that the last time I was in there I was told by him that the transmission was also going, after I spent about $1500 for a tune. He said I would probably need a new car within the next year or so. When I complained about the price of fixing the lift he did tell me he could take off 20% for labor. He said my issue was with GM who makes the vehicle. Now I don't know if I should trust him with the fact that my transmission is going out and maybe it was just that they did not do the tune up correctly. I told my brother in law about how much it was going to cost and he said that it didn't sound like I should get a new motor but the lifts. He told me that if I bought the lifts he would try and see if that was the issue but he could not guarantee that. I bought the lifts for approximately $88 and took them to him and he put them on within about 15 minutes and the lift worked. He is not a mechanic by trade but he does fix his own cars usually. So you can imagine my dismay for a cost of $88 compared to the price of Penske of $1425. Very disappointed and not sure if I am treated that way because I am an older woman with no husband to check this with. By the way, Robert never asked the service department to check this and also he did not say that there was a chance it would not need the motor, only that the price would be $1425. More
