Service advisor was excellent, time taken to service was reasonable, it would be nice however if the waiting room had free water and/or coffee since the wait is several hours. After being mistreated at my former dealership, Penske took over, fixed the issue and was transparent and skilled at communicating. I own a 2017 Silverado that I purchased brand new. My truck is now 6 years old and only has 24,839 miles All services have been done at Penske Chevrolet of Cerritos. Took my truck in engine light was My truck is now 6 years old and only has 24,839 miles All services have been done at Penske Chevrolet of Cerritos. Took my truck in engine light was one and it had a misfire. Dealer charge $205 just to look at it. About 2 hours later I get a call saying the the mechanic thought It was a bad lifter or maybe the camshaft, It would be $2064 to check it if it was the lifter. It would be around $5,560, if it was the camshaft it would be around $11,800. I told them not to do the work that I would take my truck home. Once I got my truck home, I called a mobile mechanic. Two hours later he had diagnosed my truck replace the plugs that were $62.00, and my truck was running like new again. All this to say Penske should be a shame, one of two things they are incompetent or they are scammers and thieves. I believe they are both and should be investigated for fraud. I will never be going to them again and will tell as many people as possible about their scamming business dealings. More

Terrible service. Terrible dealer Took it for the free first service. The oil was 2 inches overfilled. The tires were 10 pounds overfilled. The tires were not rotated as promised and they had assured me they were. We had to waste time to go back another day to have all this fixed. The manager said this was their best mechanic. If this is their best mechanic, I would never go to this dealer to have work done as everything was done wrong and those were easy services. We bought our car from here and were disappointed from the day they told us we could come pick it up. The payment had cleared and we thought all the paperwork was finished but when we went to pick it up we had to wait for over an hour to sign the last paperwork and have the plates put on, even though we had an appointment.
