I purchased a used car from them, and the only issues I had were with the AC unit not blowing cold air and the protective cover on the LCD peeling off. However, resolving these issues has been a drawn-out and frustrating ordeal. It took over eight weeks of constant follow-ups to finally get someone to schedule a service appointment. After taking time off work and spending money on Uber to and from the dealership, I was informed that they couldn't even fix the car because it needed to go to a Jeep dealership. This information could have been shared initially, saving me all the unnecessary hassle and expense. When I complained to the sales manager, he gave me the number for a claim in less than 30 seconds and told me I could take it to any Jeep dealership. Why wasn't this explained to me from the start? It feels like they couldn't care less about the inconvenience they caused. The entire experience was disorganized and unprofessional. The service and sales departments wasted my time and money, and I believe they should compensate me for the unnecessary stress and effort I had to resolve a simple issue. If you're considering Penske Chevrolet of Cerritos, steer clear. Their customer service is severely lacking, and they don't seem to value their customers' time or business. More
Sent email by Chevrolet for complimentary software update to use Tesla chargers. Told by sales staff software update isn’t free and would require purchasing the adapter to get update. Agreed to purchase adap to use Tesla chargers. Told by sales staff software update isn’t free and would require purchasing the adapter to get update. Agreed to purchase adapter but was told that adapter isn’t available from dealer and is back ordered online. I called Chevy EV concierge and they confirmed adapter supply chain issue but confirmed that software update is free. Service rep lied and said adapter purchase was required to provide dealer with a QR code to perform software update. Chevy Concierge confirmed this is not true and that QR code included with adapter is only for downloading MyChevy app. More
