And in service, Grant is the best person in the world. I didn’t like the other guy that I talked to earlier today. He was not helpful or kind of like Grant is. I after 10 months of owning my vehicle I am not happy with the service I received. I was not informed properly about everything I needed to know about my car. When I asked for a service maintenance schedule and pricing three times in a row, I was never given one. Grant finally gave me one yesterday with estimated costs. I’m disabled and I feel highly taken advantage of. I drove down yesterday for my oil change and to get my tires checked and on my way home my right front tire went completely flat on the highway. I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for roadside assistance to come put the doughnut on and drive 42 miles home on that Grant can’t help me figure out how to get a new tire on my car when I just paid $800 for new tires to be ordered and put on there after I told him I’m a half a block from discount tire where I’m at in Cottonwood. He talked me into buying tires there instead of here and now I can’t get anywhere. Until he refunds the money for the tires I bought I can’t purchase new tires and I have no way to get around. I am super displeased. Not to mention that they promised me my payment wouldn’t be more than 670. Why am I paying $698 a month? That’s just super wrong absolutely absolutely horrendously wrong! Thieves and liars. Also, I got approved for a loan through my bank why do I have a loan with a different bank now? I didn’t agree to that. How did that happen? Make sure you read through your contracts before you actually sign them and don’t just trust Sabir. And if anything goes wrong, don’t expect management to take care of it. They’ll put it back on you telling you you should’ve read your stuff before you singed and take no responsibility for their actions. I trusted that what I verbally agreed to is the same on paper, but then they changed it. I chose Subaru because of its ethical practices. It’s a real disappointment that these people don’t follow them. I don’t feel as if the sale was transparent and I was informed of everything in fact I was lied to and manipulated. More
⭐☆☆☆☆ – Pricing Discrepancies, Misleading Credits, and No Follow-Through I am a long-time Subaru owner (WRX STI, WRX Limited, Ascent, and now a 2026 WRX Limited), and this was one of the most frustrating Follow-Through I am a long-time Subaru owner (WRX STI, WRX Limited, Ascent, and now a 2026 WRX Limited), and this was one of the most frustrating dealership experiences I’ve had. Initially, working with Shawn Cleghorn was straightforward. We agreed on a sales price of approximately $35,400, and everything seemed aligned. However, at signing, the price increased to over $36,700 without a clear explanation. After I questioned it, the number was adjusted, but still included an unexplained $470 difference from what was originally agreed upon. After reviewing my contract at home, I confirmed the discrepancy and reached out. The “resolution” offered was a $470 credit toward parts/services — with the expectation of providing a perfect survey score. That alone raised concerns about how customer feedback is being handled. I chose to use the credit toward a short throw shifter installation. According to Peoria Subaru’s own website, the part + install is listed at approximately $597. Based on that, my expected out-of-pocket after the $470 credit should have been around $130 + tax. Instead: • I was quoted around $600 prior to installation • I was then billed $975 after the work was completed • After escalation, the bill was reduced, but I still paid significantly more than expected Even after an additional $200 credit was offered, the final numbers still do not align with the dealership’s advertised pricing or prior agreements. Additionally, I have made multiple attempts to cancel the extended warranty I only agreed to for financing purposes, and the finance department has not responded. This experience reflects a consistent pattern: • Pricing changes at signing • Credits used to offset discrepancies instead of correcting them • Final charges that do not match advertised pricing • Lack of responsiveness from finance I will be providing documentation to support these claims. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this dealership review all numbers carefully, verify pricing against their website, and get everything in writing before signing. More
At the end of my 24 month service appointment, I was given a packet with recommended services and an explanation of the effect of heat on vehicle fluids. The packet stated that differential fluid change given a packet with recommended services and an explanation of the effect of heat on vehicle fluids. The packet stated that differential fluid changes should be performed at 18 months or 18,000 miles whichever comes first regardless of mileage (due to the effect of intense AZ heat on fluids). When I asked my service advisor why I wasn't told about the fluid change at my 18 month appointment, she became defensive, condescending and hung up on me when I asked to see a service manager. I will not be returning to this dealership. More
