This was one of the best experiences I've had with a car dealership. Drew Haag quickly responded to my Internet inquiry. He contacted me and asked what vehicle I was looking for. Through telephone conversation, he obtained my information and made arrangements for me to visit the dealership. When I arrived, I did not have to wait and Drew had vehicles lined up for me to review. However, he had also taken the time to put together some recommendations based on what I wanted in the vehicle. He was not in anyway pushy; he was polite, professional and responsive. He made this experience in getting our new Jeep a very, very, very pleasant affair. After the sale, Drew followed up to make sure we were happy with the vehicle, which we were and are. Probably the worst service experience I can say I ever had. Aside from telling me they changed my oil and later finding it never happened. I have been here 5 times to try and fix a stalling issue with a 5 had. Aside from telling me they changed my oil and later finding it never happened. I have been here 5 times to try and fix a stalling issue with a 5.7 HEMI. The service staff is absolutely clueless-if it were up to me, they wouldn't have jobs. Les in service is by far the worst. Try asking him a question about service and I swear you would be better off asking the receptionist. In addition to Les, Mark Adkins the Service manager is a waste of space. Good luck getting an email response, or even a call back. Show up in person and he runs into the back room and hides! Awful Awful experience. Will NEVER go back again. Plan to spread the word too. Buy a vehicle elsewhere, like Carriage Town in Delaware or Crown Jeep of Dublin....Stay clear away from Performance. More

I have dealt with John Gerlach and Performance Dodge (Trader Bud back in the day) since 1989. My family and friends buy from Performance and in particular John Gerlach for all the car buying needs. I just recently purchased not one but two cars from John on 5/15/2013. I purchased a Ram 1500 and my wife purchased a 200. John once again surpassed our expectations ! He knew our family needs and worked the deal until it was right for US. In 2009 we purchased without John's assistnace as he was out. BIG MISTAKE ! We ended up settling what the dealer stated what we could only get into for what we wanted in payments. I should have held out until John was back in the office as I strongly feel he would have figured out a way to make it work. A BIG thank you to Perfomance Dodge, Brad and especially John for getting us into the cars we actaully wanted and the price. More

I purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey certified used on 4/7/2013. John the salesmen was really nice and polite but never went over anything with me about what the certified covered with my new vehicle. Also went into the finance part of it that went really well. But again nothing was told to me about the certified information and what it covered. So capital one who we have the loan from calls me and says there is a problem with the contract that was signed. My future wife is a co-signer and they spelled her name wrong on the contract. So her and I had to make another trip up there to get that corrected and ask about them what the certified thing covers. They finally got contract correct and certified info was covered but i should not have to go there several times for this to happen. Also never got an owners manual with my car. So I guess i will have to make a 3rd trip up there so that can be provided for me. I am hoping that in the future with other customers this information is explained better and clearing to people so they understand what they are getting. Buying a car to some people is a big financial purchase and would like to know what they are getting before they get it. So I hope that i hear something back from a higher up person so that i know that this review was read. Thanks More

I got the feeling that he truly was a person who enjoyed his job, enjoyed the cars that he sells, and made me feel very comfortable when it came to all the stress and indecision that goes with purchasing something of this nature. The whole experience with Performance was pleasant, and I would recommend them to everyone! I have to admit that I thought I would be hesitant when it came to searching and discussing a new car over the internet because I was almost sure that once I drove to the other side of Columbus, what was discussed via email would surely be a hoax, but I was happily incorrect. Everything that was stated was true and I am so glad I drove from the NE side to get my third Jeep from a dealership I had not even contemplated because of location. Everyone in the dealership was courteous and pleasant. By far the best purchasing experience I have had so far! More

I was not sure if I was ready to buy a car yet!! I drove past this lot and saw a car that caught my eye. I was not sure of the price of the vehicle and if I was ready to buy. When I was driving around the lot, I saw Ryan Kinkle walking around with another co-worker checking on another vehicle. I stopped and asked him if the used car lot was open and he said no, but he would go get the key and let me look at it. He brought it down to the new car lot area and got my insurance information and told me that I could take it for a test ride. He was very friendly, but was not pushy at all!! I loved the sound of it and when I drove it, I knew that this was the car for me. I pointed out some things that needed done to the car and I spent some time negotiating with them. But, I ended up getting exactly what I had asked for and Ryan never got pushy the whole time. I would not have bought that car with a pushy salesperson. Ryan knew that correct way to handle me. The car and his friendly demeanor sold me and made my decision so easy. Everyone at the dealership was friendly the whole time that I was there. We did not leave until after 7:15pm and the dealership closed at 6:00. I would highly recommend this salesperson and dealership for your next buying experience!! Sincerely, Ed Smith More
