Good Afternoon, As per our previous discussions including when you were signing for the vehicle. When the deal was worked with a tag transfer estimate but then it went to a NEW tag this caused the amount to adjust accordingly based on the purchasers information. The second adjustment is the deal switched from cash to finance. In FL any vehicle purchase that is financed is subject to a FL Doc Stamp tax based on the amount financed. The change from cash to finance would cause the "OTD" to increase based on adding FL Doc Stamp tax which is required by law. We will be more than happy to walk you through any questions or concerns you may have! I am not sure of the discussions, but I do have proof of a proposal with a tag fee of $408.50. And it was clear from the beginning that we never had a car in Florida, so this will need a new tag. Now you are adding another $394 per your order. That is a very deceptive practice and is called double-charging the consumer. I can't attach the docs, else i can share. Once we agree on OTD and you make me sign the proposal, you have to stick to that. That is the nature of ethical business. You are lying flat out. Please confirm accurately. It was always a finance deal; check with your sales rep, Danial. I even wanted to pay cash, and you wanted the commission from your banks and disagreed to do that. I have wasted my valuable time. I have all the evidence and will file coamplaints wth Florida Attorney General and DMV to look into your practices.

We would be happy to review whatever documents you would like so we can see if something isn’t correct. All registration and tax is an estimate only until the finance department completes the final registration amount in finance. Once the DMV completes the process on their end if there was any overage charged the customer will be refunded. The additional amount you keep referencing seems to be a tag registration difference and the doc stamp tax charged by the state on financed deals that wasn’t originally quoted because the deal was originally quoted as a cash deal where the doc stamp tax does not apply. Again we are more than happy to review any concerns you have with those state fees. First, I think you are making a wrong accusation against me. It was not a cash deal to begin with. I am not sure where you got that. Danial and Kenny made sure it was to be a finance deal, Second, please look at your proposal that Danial made me sign for 13.1K. You have that in your records, and you can happily review them and share your thoughts, and you can explain to me all the several itemizations that you had that included tag fees for 408.50. I really don't think that you are that transparent to share in this forum, I am xxxx sure that the state of Florida is not charging ~800+ for new tags. It is not the state; it is the you dealer taking the extra. I know for sure, I'm on the right side. I have discussed with an attorney as well. I cannot give the same reasoning again and again.

To clarify, the issue was not whether the actual buyer needed to be present. For five hours, I was consistently told that the buyer did not need to be there and that he would be contacted at the end of the process. Only after I stepped into the finance office was I told the opposite. This was not a problem nor was I frustrated about it—I immediately stated that the buyer was on his way, and he arrived at the dealership within 30 minutes. I was not frustrated by this change, but I was confused as to why I had spent five hours at the dealership without any clear direction or communication. That said, this is not the core issue. The sole concern is the manner in which I was spoken to and treated from the moment I entered the finance office, which was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.
