Turned in a 2013 Rav4 to pick up a 2018 Rav4 Hybrid I recently received an offer from Toyota to turn in my 2013 Rav4 and upgrade to a 2018 Rav4 for less then I was paying at the present time. While at t I recently received an offer from Toyota to turn in my 2013 Rav4 and upgrade to a 2018 Rav4 for less then I was paying at the present time. While at the dealer, I saw the Rav4 Hybrid was listed at $1,000 more than the standard gas engine Rav4 XLE. I spoke to Cammeron Kline about the differences between the vehicles and which would be a better choice, having described my driving habits to him. When all was said and done, the hybrid Rav4 won out in the end. It was only a difference of $9 dollars on the payment, so it made sense to choose the hybrid. Edmunds also rated the hybrid version of the vehicle as being better than the standard gas engine. Once the decision was made, things moved forward at a fast rate. The appraisal for my car was completed in short order. The preparation of the new vehicle was finished before I had even signed the paperwork. All the numbers were discussed and explained. The dealer contacted my insurance company and informed them of the purchase, saving me the time of doing it later. The transition between turning in the vehicle and driving off in the new hybrid took a matter of three, maybe three-and-a-half hours. I can't recall the last time I spent such a short amount of time in a car dealer. A little of this might have to do with the fact that I leased the vehicle through Toyota bank, but I do not think I would have been there much longer even if I had purchased the car outright. The experience was great and I would hope this same level of treatment will continue into the future. More
