This was the 5th car I have purchased from Perkins. I keep going back because they actually listen to me, what I want and Scott works hard to get it for me. Other dealers promise things they can't deliver or tell you anything they can to get you in the door and then start the usual tactics. I was actually in the service department getting my wife's car ready for a road trip and looked at a challenger while killing time. Scott answered my questions, sent me info and LEFT ME ALONE to think about what I wanted. No daily e-mails to see if I was still interested and no pressure. When I came back he remembered what I was looking for, asked me what I wanted and did not try to sell me anything else. He listened to what I said was important to me and gave me honest feedback. I thought about including my truck as a second trade but he knew that I valued it more than it is probably worth and when he saw that the trade value was going to be lower than I wanted he took it out of the deal and found a different way without insulting me with a low ball offer. He also told me that the unclaimed hail damage on my other trade was hurting the value, gave me a reasonably close estimate of what it would bring if I claimed it and let me take the trade, after the fact to file the claim putting extra cash in my pocket. Before, during and even after the sale Scott made sure it was a good experience for me and for my wife. rest assured, given enough time I will buy 5 more cars from Perkins motors. More
Our overall experience was good. Simon is very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of the questions we asked him. The worst part was waiting for finance. It should not take that long to put together 5-6 pages of purchase papers. More

Our visit to Perkins was very positive and we are very happy with our purchase. However, our visit took much longer than we thought it should. In the past, we have gotten our pre-approved loan from USAA a happy with our purchase. However, our visit took much longer than we thought it should. In the past, we have gotten our pre-approved loan from USAA and it took very little time to fill out paperwork and buy our vehicle. We came in with our pre-approval and the van we wanted, we test drove it and were ready to buy it almost immediately. We are not sure why we had to keep waiting and filling out information which was not relevant to our purchase. However, we are very happy with our vehicle. More

One week after we purchased our used truck the engine light appeared and the truck was missing and running very rough at the beginning of a long trip. We had to have the problem diagnosed at a Ford dealership out of state. The diagnosis was not good, but we were told we would need to get it back to the Perkins dealership for them to pay for any repairs. It made us wonder what it really meant to purchase a "Pre-certified" vehicle. That's why I put Quality of work at only "OK". It seems that if the vehicle were really checked out and serviced well prior to selling, then the problems would have been found. As it turned out, we got the truck back to dealership after our trip and the dealership paid for the repairs. That was much appreciated and I commend the Perkins Dealership for doing this. Thank you.
