The service at Perkins was once again great, as it has always been for me there. I needed to get my wife a new car for work and I traded in my old jeep for a new car. Scott was very easy to work with and payed attention to everything we were looking for with new vehicles. He put my wife and I in new cars that are we exactly what we wanted. The staff there did there best to make it as painless an experience as possible. The whole process from walking in the door, to the test drives, the finalizing the buying took only a couple of hours, and they gave us great deals. As a military team chief I help a lot of new Soldiers shop for vehicles and I have yet to find a dealership in the city that has better people or better prices than Perkins. Not only would I recommend it to anyone looking for a new car, but I do on a regular basis! More

Will Perkins had been a blessing to me and my family with regard to cars purchased and his personal belief in the Lord. So for a long time all of my extended family would shop at Perkins first. Years ago I had a very bad experience at the dealership. I wanted to buy a Pacifica. The price was $15999. I had a trade in. I believed that as always I was getting the best deal I could while I understood the dealership had to also make a profit. I had no problem with that. Later after thinking about the car I decided I'd check others around town on the internet. I wondered if I could find one a little cheaper. And yes I found another one for $4000 less. After looking a little harder at the ad I realized I was looking at the very same car advertised for $11999.00 from Perkins. Wow. I was shocked. I immediately called the salesman and asked why he was trying to get 4K more from me than anyone else? His response was a little rude and demeaning. I called his boss, the sales manager, who was also giving me an attitude of not caring at all. He said I could buy the car for $11,999 but my trade in would be worth $4K less. I was again shocked. I asked to speak to Tom Perkins. I got his secretary because he was not available. I asked her to have Tom call me back but he never did. That experience resulted in multiple car purchases from Al Serra Chevy, as well as my extended family shopping elsewhere. This week I found myself in need of another work truck. I really didn't want a Silverado again. I went to Colorado Springs Dodge, walked the lot for over an hour and gave up when no one would help me. So I went to Phil Long but they did not have what I needed. I guess I decided to bite the bullet and check at Perkins. A great guy and salesman named John L. Sullivan waited on me and he impressed me greatly. I worked out a good deal with him and his nice direct boss, and bought the truck. I'd still like to know why Tom Perkins seemed to be not caring about my experience years ago, but decided to forgive and forget, mostly because of John. That is a shame, because of multiple truck purchases that were made elsewhere over the years. Today, I'd recommend Perkins not because of Tom, but because of John and his boss. He took his time to answer all of our questions, made sure our needs were met, and even worked in a deal to add window tinting to the car with the total price. After the window tinting was finished, he picked up the car himself and took it to get detailed and top off the gas. We felt that he treated us like we were his one and only customer.
